Does anyone else think that the main soloist for Hershey looks like Neville from ICarly

Hey, when is Milton "Choralation" performing?? Before day awards or before final awards??? I want to make sure to catch their performance.

Been pretty impressed by groups today. I think we'll be able to make some predictions about finals after Hersey's performance.

Sauk was a very Sauk show. You will either love it or hate it.

showqhoir--- you shouldn't need to sign in via facebook. right now it has the dvd page and is playing music because they are waiting for the next group. make sure at the top of the page on redhawkmedia.com you clicked "live stream". that's all you should have to do

Choralation is performing after finals so around 9:45

First post on showchoir.com as an Alumni, and I'm hoping my favorite group puts on the amazing performance they need, and I know are capable of. I won't give out an predictions, but I'm rooting for ya Waconia! Good luck to all groups that have and have not yet performed!

Side note: Pretty sure that performance from Executive Session just put them into finals. Congrats, that was great!

Does anyone know how to get the live stream for this going? I clicked on the linked and signed up through facebook and it's just staying on this page about buying bluray dvds and it keeps playing music...

I believe that is the screen they show in between groups

That happened to me and I had to push pause and play a couple times or refresh and it would work.

Great show from Sauk. Unfortunately they get robbed everywhere they go. I hope today is an exception.

If there was a best live stream award then Milton would definitely be winning!

Thank you for the live stream video!! Its really cool to be able to watch an up-scale event for free in your own home, half way across the country. Really excited to see Waubonsie Valley and Wheaton Warrenville South later today. Greetings from Massachusetts!!

PS I'll make a little prediction myself as an outsider:

GC - Waubonsie Valley Sound Check (BV)
1RU - Wheaton Warrenville South (BC)
2RU - Waconia Power Company

Have a great show choir-filled day everyone!!

Predictions:

GC: Waubonsie (BV)
1RU: Wheaton (BC)
2RU: Waconia
3RU: Craig
4RU: Davenport West
5RU: Sauk Prairie

I think Waubonsie will win this one, but I'll take a risk and say they won't sweep. Waconia has been one of my favorite groups to watch the past few years--I'm thrilled they've started out so well this season! Should be a good competition!

They make singing a 14 minute show look extremely easy, but that is probably because they never move their feet..
Even in their "big" closer dance break the guys just hit poses while the girls swing their arms.. I would't get too hyped about Waconia pulling the upset on either WWS or WV.

I think how I would state this is that there are groups out there that have more complex choreography. In my opinion, for example, Dwight Jordan, April James, or Heath Gemar. If you watch their groups performances, live or recorded, you will see different groups doing different things, and lots of both arm and foot work. That is not to say that it is better, but groups with more complex choreography, do tend to rise to the top. Now, there is also something to be said for less complex choreography done very precisely and cleanly. Or maybe a group focuses on complex vocals (at least 4+part), and does less complex choreography. Some groups are able to do both extremely successfully.

Waconia Power Company has been a very solid, well performing show choir for many years. I'm sure they will perform very well not only at Milton, but throughout the season.

That being said - my predictions are as follows:

GC - WV Sound Check (BV/BC)
1RU- Waconia Power Company
2RU - WWS Classics
3RU - Craig Spotlighters
4RU - Sauk Prairie Executive Session
5RU - Hersey OnStage

Good luck to all the groups on Saturday!
