It's a shame their is so much controversy over the matter. Opinions are most certainly expected to be expressed but keep in mind Fairfield didn't have anything to do with the results either, and no one complaining is going to take their trophy away. Congrats to Fairfield, you really showed the judges what they wanted to see!

Yeah, I'm just really sorry and embarassed (even though I had nothing to do with it nor did anyone else from North Central but the judges) but it's just dissapointing that our competitions seem to turn out strange and people get upset by them (except last year because I mean no one should have gotten mad at those results, I thought those were pretty straight on). Anyway, I'm really sorry for the choirs that are dissapointed. Cry and be angry now. It helps, I think. And then move on and maybe ... talk to North Central people again someday? I'm really really sorry.. I hope everyone had fun though!!! :-/

Also, I heard that Ben Davis thinks North Central hates them especially after the results, but we had nothing to do with the results and no one hates you. You're retarded. We love you. Anyway, after finals, I would have put:

GC: Ben Davis
1RU: LC
2RU: Brownsburg
3rU: Fairfield
4RU: LN

Best vocals: Ben Davis/ LC tie. You guys have totally different sounds but both great
Best Choreo: Ben Davis

I completely agree. This competiton is proving to have suprising results year after year. Last year was the exception. But you look at the judging in years past in this competition and you have to wonder what kind of water the judges drink there. Anyway...not that it matters...but I had it ranked this way:

GC: Ben Davis
1st RU: Lawrence C
2nd RU: Brownsburg
3rd RU: Fairfield
4th RU: Lawrence N.

Well congrats to the students and director of Fairfield. I definately dont want to take any honors away from you. I may not have seen what the judges saw...and they are the ones who matter. Great job to all of the choirs.
BY THE WAY: Brownsburg...your concert choir ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

I agree whole-heartedly...except in my mind I honestly was thinking this (not that it matters much):

GC: Ben Davis
1st RU: Brownsburg
2nd RU: LC
3rd RU: Fairfield
4th RU: LN

I would love to hear about the points spread..and exactly who scored what from what judges.

OH MY.

Let me just say that when they announced LC as 3rd RU every jaw dropped. Mine stayed dropped for a long time afterward. I CANNOT believe it. Granted i didn't see any other shows. I was the "honorary host" of LN New Dimension so i only saw their show and LC in finals. But based on LC in finals..well..quite an upset. I feel bad for LC. I think they deserved better.

But LN- You all are tight! I loved you guys and the dance off in the rehearsal room was tight. As was all the room dancing in general. And i really love your show this year. Song choice is great. I'm so happy you made finals. You're awesome!

ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT THE F???

seriously, a very dissapointing/ suprising evening. I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW FAIRFIELD GOT GRANDCHAMP.

FAIRFIELD: Im not trying to be mean or anything but DAMN, but they are not good this year, last year was better for them but this year kinda awful. There song choices were very good. The opener was Onalaskas opener for 2001 and the ballad was a good choice also Laff Jeff did in 2002, but the show wasnt Strong whats so ever, I like thought everyone sounded young and not vocally togther at all. Alot of Notes you struggled tremendously on. BUT ITS QUESTIONABLE TO EVERYONE AS OF TO HOW YOU DID IT. and for you to teach them you would have to charge.

BEN DAVIS: You guess had an awsome preformance, kinda wasnt the best preformance you had the whole year, I was wondering if people was sleeping instead of getting ready to preform for finals. But vocals were there as always. You guys did very well and you deserved a first or second spot.

BROWNSBURG: I love you opener hehehe I love Linda Eder but you guys are improving more and more all year long, keep up the good work and congrads to you guys GC in concert choir. I LOVE YOU GUYS SERIOUSLY, the sapranoes ROCK and the blonde with the opening solo rocks also (voice)

LAWRENCE CENTRAL: ok you guys have been good all year and for you to be in this spot is rediculas/insane/impossible. I like you guys but not a fan of the show. I love Vocals deffinently. You guys didnt do like you did all year either but not bad enough take 4th, with the preforming you did that could have easily been a Grand Champion for you but GC should have been you and Ben Davis fighting for it.

LAWRENCE NORTH: awwwwwww you guys are good and have some awsome preformers in your group, you guys will excell really fast cause your director is an awsome lady, but keep up the good work

PS: SUCH A BEAUTIFUL DISASTER

I could have tossed a coin in the air to give BD or LC the GC, because they are both great. I dont even understand what happened...

Those are about the most messed up results I have seen in a while for mixed.

It shouldve been between BD and LC for GC.

How did LC get 4th?

More like how did Fairfield get GC and Best Vocals.

They had a nice sound..but not GC or Best Vocals good.

EXTREMELY puzzling results.
