After #SnowMaggedon 2014, it was great to have a big turnout - in groups and audience - for our Contest of Champions this weekend. As the emcee, I had the honor of meeting a lot of kids as they waited in the wings to take the stage... plus we had a few groups that were starting (or re-starting) as competing show choirs.

A big thanks to everyone who came to Ellettsville this weekend. If you would like to see some of the back-stage photos from the event, head to Twitter and search for the hash tags #EHSCOC and #GeneTheSoundMan2k15.

All the best,

Jim Inman

Best Female Performer went to Nora Weisz in "Elegance' Bishop Dwenger for Single-Gender Captions

Sorry should have clarified. Nora won the award for Elegance. I changed it in my comment, but needs to be changed above. I only know that Elegance took 4RU and Sweet Sensations took GC. Other than that I have no clue about Single-Gender placement.

As far as Tier II Mixed, I know that Shelbyville was GC and Dwenger was 1RU. Not sure about other places though.

Yeah, Edgewood ran their comp like this in 2012 as well!

Interesting! That's really cool actually!

It won't let me edit, but I meant Grove City in second runner-up. Lawrence Central took the first runner up spot.

So far, according to Twitter it's a Twinsburg sweep with Grove City in second place.

The schedule has been posted in terms of order of performance. I didn't post times as I assume those have changed.

Carmel did drop out of our contest just this past week - as soon as the schedule was released. Odd that they added somewhere else however, as the director claimed the reason was her band being unavailable.

I think Carmel will be at Danville. Their website says Danville at least. And Carmel was recently added to the Danville schedule after Decatur "Elite Energy" dropped out. So I'm guessing this Edgewood schedule is just outdated.

There are several folks from Edgewood on here though, I'm sure they could clear up the confusion.
