I heard Carmel sang very well. I also heard their set and some large props weren't finished, so that could be some of it.

I heard Naperville North was VERY solid. Great ballad, closer. Very clean. Great band. Sounded like it was close, but they deserved it. Just VERY interesting to see them improve so much after 6th place at Onalaska!

I heard Carmel was in second going into finals. Naperville must have really stepped it up for the night show! Congrats Naperville!

Wow congrats to Naperville and Center Grove on the top two. I'm sure this competition was rather close with Carmel and Naperville. Anyone have any thoughts on Carmel's show? Curious to hear how they're doing with a gap year, new director, and new choreographer.

What was everyone's take on the shows? Also, if you have any thoughts on Pekin's show, please let me know - I'm interested to see what everyone thinks about it.

Best Male Soloist in the Championship division was Ryan Boswell from Naperville North.
Sorry about the names and schools for soloists for prelims - I was trying to type fast and listen over the screams.

Finale is like the show choir version of the Apples to Apples Anne Frank trump card.

WOW!!! This could be one of the longest competitions ever? everyone will be asleep by the time final awards are announced!

Mundelein 2010 was longest my daughter was a sophomore. And they left cause it was so late/early.
