Tell us how Homewood did when you get the chance.
Associate was pretty good. Hard to balance the guys (only 11 of them). Had some pitch issues, particularly in the ballad. But good choreo throughout.
Also, South Jones had TONS of lifts--like every dance break I was holding my breath hoping they wouldn't drop someone

Homewood "Associate" just went--Purvis is about to go on. Internet connection is awful!
Auburn was brilliant and hilarious--"Addicted to Technology" show.
Decatur had fabulous vocals. Beautiful ballad. Several tech issues, not necessarily their fault but it affected them.
South Jones was loud (and really good too).
Opelika--that's the best I've ever seen of them before! Great Vocals and Choreography. I think I have them in 2nd place right now.
And I forgot...........WE WOULD LOVE TO HOST YOUR show choir next year. Remember the next to last weekend in January is JACKSON PREP show choir MASTERS.....JAN. 22-23. 2016!!!!
Friends......As Performing Arts Chair at Jackson Prep, I am most honored to be a part of hosting our 2nd annual Jackson Prep show choir Masters this weekend. Our three Prep show choirs, Reveillon, Fusion, and Glitz will be hosts to 35 show choirs from Illinois, Alabama, and Mississippi. Some of the nation's best show choirs will perform in our beautiful new Centre for the Arts in the Fortenberry Theatre. Preparations have been made now for some time and it feels like Christmas Eve.
I would like to announce that we will have a live stream of the FINALS on Saturday night. This should start around 8:15pm. The website for this is jacksonpreparts.com.
Please also visit our Jackson Prep show choir Masters FB page for the schedule for Friday night and Saturday's competition.
On another note, i am so very proud of our three show choirs Fusion, Glitz, and Reveillon and the commitment and work they have devoted to their show choir competition shows. It is a joy to work with each student. Tonight I watched Reveillon take huge leaps and most of all become the team that I knew they were. As a director, we push and push to get the choirs to their potential. We encourage, we motivate, and we keep pushing. I am so proud to see them respond and grow! Can I say ....."I love my job!" God gave me this ministry!!!!
