my opinion:
Burbank In Sync should have gotten first and Impression should have placed higher .
And i feel sorry for all the girls and boys who fell on that stage. I know i saw a girl from Powerhouse fall, I saw the Bonita guy fall and people were just standing there, and a carlsbad guy busted his knee our something, and i saw the girl from Bonita fall during the tap song.I hope all of you guys are doing better.
all i have to say, is WOW, Powerhouse and Sound Sensations, you guys were ssssssoooooo awesome, conrads on sweeping, i love you all ssoooo much, you guys all rock my world, sorry for the hats...

i just want to say that i absolutely LOVED vista's show...both groups. you guys are REALLY talented and AMAZING to watch! if i were judging, i woulda put BOTH group's first (not that i don't love burroughs or bonita vista) but seriously, MAJOR props to y'allz cuz both shows are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!

Wow, thank you! I can't say we should have won first (" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />;;), but I greatly appreciate your respect, and I'd assume the rest of our choir members would agree. As a junior at Vista, I know we don't usually get and compliments...w/out critizisim to follow. (if any compliments at all) BUT, we don't do what we do because we want people to like us or because we want to win. We do it...because we like it.
Hmm...last night was fun. Really fun, but to tell the truth, it was kinda disappointing for me to come home not placing. I performed the crap out of that show...haha. Oh well, it was still fun onstage and still a fun night

- Really good show!!! Matt pulses a lot in the beginning. Tati sings really good--Actually, good job to all the soloists

- I missed you guys too, but I heard you can't stop the beat through the walls. And I heard Kim's solo. And I hope matt gets better, even though him and his friends embarassed the crap out of me in the lobby ;)

- Good show...i'm really proud of you guys. Don't be discouraged with the placing.
Eastlake
- Missed you guys, but maaan...your closer looked interesting when i was watching it in the tv in the lobby.
Vista
- Really good theme with the russian thing. I actually knew what you guys were talking about thanks to my trusty old U.S. History class. ;) I wish you guys only sang more. You guys had dance breaks waaaay too much. I liked them though

My opinions on Socal...
Vista is boring. Im sorry... Im not one who goes to a show choir competition to watch a musical. But thats just me. Yeah. Sounded good, but it seemed like they danced way more than they sang. So yeah.
I thought that Celebration should have at least placed 6th.... at least. They were better than past shows.
I liked BV last night. I thought that they have made major improvements since the beginning of the year. I thought they should have taken third.
I love my school and i love the choirs that come from my school, but well i really thought that Burbank deserved to take home that first place trophy.
I thought that Burbank girls should have placed higher as well.
I hope that all those people who fell by accident and everything are ok and doing well.

I agree with mcustom on the Bolles comment. Just because he is Machine's former director isnt going to impair his judgement. He would give Machine what they deserve based on the performance.

Bolles isn't the judges who holds anything from the past onto a performing group...he is a musician's musician, and looks at only the best...not anything else.
....Nevertheless...I also think burbank's girls deserved better, theyre always one of my favorites, and i love them
I'm just happy we placed.....i remember going home in tears last year because we got second to last
But good times this year....i got to meet Tina!!! and Heather!! and Amanda for the first time again!!! And that guy who's sn is Shaggy..i think his name is Nate.... and i saw Fidi, but didn't introduce myself, i just saw his name on his jacket in the food court at the pizza place....and i met Lauren (perkynblue, or something) she's really short, like me!!! Yay for show choir people..... " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> i saw Mike077 for two seconds, and i found Paul (big daddy)....i also saw Sam (hackeychicken) again.... I probably forgot some people...but oh well Yay for So Cal!!!

Last night at SoCal (major fun!!!) i think Burbank should have taken first because in my opinion they were more on and had the better show. Burroughs Powerhouse had a great show dont get me wrong, i just think Burbank had a better one.

Even if we (BV-MM) had done the most amazing show of all time last night we still wouldn't have gotten first because Mr. Bolles was a judge, which really sux but that's the way it goes. w/e. i still had major fun!!!!!
mr bolles is a really fair judge. he doesn't let history keep him from ranking us low, or his reputation from ranking us high. he gives us what we deserve.
