Yes, unfortunately it was for exhibition, Rhythm Express placed second over all in the day time though which is fantastic!! They are incredible.

OK. 60 plus in Opelika and the forecast for West Virginia this week is also 60 and sunny. The show choir weather gods must be trying to make up for the past 7 weeks. . .
-Fairfield MS moved to Class C as a result of being the only middle school in attendance. Unsure if Fairfield girls made a similar request.
-Herbert Hoover moved from Class B to Class C.
-Colerain withdrew electing to compete at Hamilton instead. The performance schedule did not change, there will be an exhibition performance in Colerain's place.
I have heard Piqua has dropped out and will be competing at Hamilton instead.
Hmm that's a shame. If so, it must've happened relatively recently since I just got an update about this competition. Can anyone confirm or deny?
edit: Piqua has dropped out. Unsure how it has affected the schedule at this point.
Woah. Fairfield vs. Piqua? When was the last time that happened?
I thought the exact same thing when I posted it. While they've competed at each others competitions regularly, it has been at the very least a full 5 years since Fairfield and Piqua have competed head-to-head. Anything before 2009 isn't very well represented on the results/choir profile record pages. So it might even be longer than that.
Surprising and silly for schools that are only separated by a little over an hour via I-75.
