Congrats to Omaha Skutt on their second finals appearance this season . I enjoyed finally seeing "Free Bird" performed live, even if it wasn't Clinton

Millard West has my favorite show this year; it is just really, really well done.

And Papillion South- also very impressive. You guys nail "Titanium" as a closer! People may begin to think of Ankeny at the start-up, but you definitely make it your own. In several ways, this really isn't the Titanium a lot of us are used to seeing. Just an observation. Congrats!

One of the story lines that will be lost from this competition is Omaha Skutt Catholic. Prior to this season, I cannot remember a time they made finals (perhaps they never have?). And yet this competition marks the second time that they made finals THIS SEASON and they have a very, very good shot at a third finals when they travel to Vermillion. What an accomplishment for the students. Mr. Storm and company are doing an absolutely amazing job! Congratulations, Vivace!

And another congratulations goes out to the rest of the groups, too! Nebraska show choir just keeps getting more exciting!

A huge congratulations Millard West for two amazing performances today! Fun fact: "Uptown Girls" was third going into finals by 19 points. Again, fantastic performances by every group there today and thank you to Norris for being fantastic hosts!

I was there for prelims. I personally had it

1) Millard West
2) Papillion South
3) Millard North
4) Lincoln East
5) Omaha Skutt

It is going to be VERY close between Millard West and Papillion South! Two of my favorite groups this year.

I'm guessing best vocals for WIG and best choreography for Titanium.

Should be a great evening!!

I added the schedule above, but I have two questions.

1) "TNT" is Omaha North's women's show choir. It's new this year I believe. As a women's show choir, I assume it will be competing in the women's division not in the prep division as listed on the schedule. Can anyone confirm or deny?

2) What is "Imperial 'Imperial Show Choir'"? I did a quick search and couldn't even find the existence of an Imperial High School in Nebraska. I did, though, find that Chase County HS "9th Street Singers" are in Imperial, Nebraska. So is that perhaps what the schedule meant? Or is there a new Imperial HS?

Looking at the program,"TNT" is in the women's division and it is Chase County performing from Imperial, NE.

I would even go so far as to say that "Uptown Girls" or "Illumination" from Millard West and North could have a strong chance at making finals here as well.

I would agree with this! We're hoping it's a possibility. Also Skutt's varsity group is really good this year and I wouldn't be too surprised if they final

I could definitely see Pius X surprising a lot of people. They usually have fairly good talent but are always together. Otherwise, I completely agree with the previously listed finalists. I just think there may be a different order! Good luck to all the groups.

So, I just now got the punniness of the title of this competition. Norris is located in the middle of miles of cornFIELDS. FIELDS of talent. Hahahaha that's too funny.

I was going to post a prediction but this is exactly what it was going to be. Although I think Papio South does have a chance to win this. Seeing them a couple days ago at Elkorn South I was really impressed with their show!

Yeah, I'm excited to see how Titanium does when lined up next to WIG and Infinity. Since they start so much later in the season, it's sometimes hard to compare them to other groups.

I'm excited that they'll be heading out to Wheaton! In the midst of all the craziness, they'll get their shot at a rematch with Westside. But this time, they'll do it with a full month of competition experience under their belt.
