Does anyone know the complete middle school results? It was posted that Fairfield received first, but did they announce second or third?

Wow, not what most people were expecting I'm sure! Congrats to Mayville and I can't wait to see this Fairfield show when they're at Marysville (and I'm hosting them )

And Mayville remains the undefeated and undisputed champion of the Chocolate City Showcase! The Cardinal Singers have won this competition ALL 4 years it has been in existence! I think it's also fair to register this as a pretty big upset as most folks were expecting a Fairfield sweep. John, not necessarily tonight but perhaps tomorrow, do you have any detailed thoughts on Fairfield?

Also did the results just get posted to SCC late or was this competition really running 2.5 hours behind? The performance schedule on the first page posts 9:15 as the start of final awards…

2.5 hours behind. Fairfield just needs to polish it up. and Mayville probably knows the acoustics of this gym quite well.

Not entirely shocked, Mayville's vocals were tight and they were ready.
And Mayville remains the undefeated and undisputed champion of the Chocolate City Showcase! The Cardinal Singers have won this competition ALL 4 years it has been in existence! Fairfield's next performance at the Marysville Showcase is apparently going be live streamed, so if you're around in two weeks you can check it out that way. Or fly to Ohio/Opelika for their remaining competitions.

Sporadic internet connection I think. That was a pre-finalist announcement prediction and I NAILED it. Those are the 6.

Middle School GC: Fairfield
Girls GC: Fairfield
Prep GC: Hamilton

Finals order:
FF Girls
EPG
Brodhead
Madison East
Mayville
FF Mixed

Same guy from Mayville (Aleric?) won best male soloist, best duet, and best male in show.

Excellent performance form Fairfield as expected (Back to the Future theme), but Mayville truly delivered.

Girl's groups appear to be eligible for finals, middle schools not. Green Bay East dropped out.

Predictions:

Can middle school groups even make finals here?
I don't see anything that says that they can't. The Fairfield itinerary says "6:30 PM - Final round of competition (Top 6 overall)" so I would assume so.

From what I have heard. All of Fairfield's choirs are top notch. But I agree with the majority this is going to be an obvious Fairfield win. At least with large mixed groups. I haven't heard much about their girls group but I'm guessing they are also very good!
