Wow congrats to Wheaton on the grand championship! There show concept is very spectacular and their dorector is a genius for thinking this one up

Just a hunch that Dwight thought it up.

Anyone else surprised by these results? How did Wheaton North not make finals? Was there a penalty? They stole the show this afternoon. Really surprised they didn't make the night show, as was everyone around me at awards. We stayed back thinkin there was a mistake in the announcements.

Congratulations to Classics. What a brilliant and unique show design.

I agree, Wheaton North was robbed.

Finalists in performance order has been posted. If anyone has prelims results, though, that would be awesome!

edit: nevermind, prelim awards posted up above! The Glenwood twitter is on point tonight!

As we approach the competition and go further into the year I'm updating my previous predictions

Predictions
GC: Wheaton (sweep)
1RU: Wheaton North
2RU: Mt. Zion
3RU: Decatur
4RU: Naperville North
5RU:Danville/Wheaton Warrenville's girls

Wheaton North is killing it this year but Wheaton Warrenville is as usually stunning in every way. Sullivan did not impress me when I saw them live, meanwhile wheaton's girls killed it at Manteno when I saw them there. This is going to be an exciting competition to see how it unfolds and which groups end up finishing. I can't wait to see it play out live!

After seeing results from this weekend my predictions are changing.

1- WWS
2- Wheaton North
3- Mt. Zion
4- Decatur
5- Sullivan
6- Naperville/Crete/Danville

Wheaton North came out of the woodwork this year. Where have they been?

WHHHHAAAAATTTT? OR NAHHH. LOL! J/K THIS IS TOO HARD TO PREDICT.

Don't get me wrong, Danville isn't bad or anything, they just aren't anywhere near the level they have been the last couple years in my opinion. Crete took choreography over Mt. Zion this season, so I think they might sneak into finals.

But youre right, its too hard to predict. I wish I could be there! I won't be able to see Wheaton live this year I dont think.

I agree, but after seeing Danville this weekend, I would put Crete and Sullivan in finals over Danville and Naperville North.
