Just received the composite today. Apparently there is some confusion of the total score for the girls division. Here are the totals from the composite for the top 3 groups:

Cosby Rhapsody: 544

Clover Hill Iridescence: 525.5

Lee Davis New Horizons: 500

I am so proud of all of the Clover Hill Choirs for "carrying on" in my absence. I had complete faith and knew you would sink your teeth in the get it done. It means so much to our family that you stayed the course! A special shout out to Protege and their director, Janine Evans on their first competition and first win. This is so exciting! As for band, there was no band score on the score sheet so we are still unsure how that caption was decided. Perhaps someone can shed some light on this.
Thank you to Antwon Chavis as well for giving up his weekend to accompany the choirs to Kecoughtan in my absence! I am deeply touched!
Congratulations to all of the competing choirs for a great day of show choir!

It's been six years since we've had a mix show choir,
& in the past CE was HOT, I just hope we can bring it back!

It is going to be a battle for the top spot between the Chesterfield show choirs! Also this is one of the last competitions before nationals begins. Hope everyone has a great time and does well!

God forbid one uses Mixed and Girls...
Lol, shut up Rian. Choral people should know what satb and ssa stand for. Music Education... What is this world coming to... I'm now done defending Kecoughtans schedule lol. Have fun and break legs tomorrow VA homies, Ill be in Jersey rootin on Hanover at the Roxburry Choral Invitational, should. Be interesting seeing show choirs compete vs chamber, madrigal, acapella etc... I feel like its gonna be a Jersey version of Sister Act minus the whole Catholic thing.

S=Soprano and A=Alto. T=Tenor, B=Bass... Not sure what the confusion was. I copied and pasted.
Acronyms should really only be used if it is common knowledge (ex. LOL or NCAA) or if an acronym is going to be used, at least include a legend at the bottom or top or something. Especially since I have never seen a competition schedule with those letters and I have put together a bunch this year. I understand you copied and pasted it, so it isn't your fault. But when a Crew member isn't necessarily familiar with an area it complicates things to have to look up which groups are which in terms of mixed, women's, A/B, etc. So the second schedule, which was the updated one anyways, was a bit more helpful and saved a ton of time. So, yeah, that was the confusion.

Protege is their intermediate womens group. S=Soprano and A=Alto. T=Tenor, B=Bass... Not sure what the confusion was. I copied and pasted.

And about Protege...my guess would be they are an intermediate women's group since Iridescence is their advanced women's group, but might want to get someone from Clover Hill to confirm!

Good luck to everyone, should be a great competition!

Thanks for providing the schedule, Ryan. Could you, or anyone really, do me a huge favor and dissect it a bit for me? I know Virginia does Mixed A/B and Women's A/B, but the schedule above is just sorta a wall of text to me. I see "SATB A" and "SATB B" which appear to be the mixed groups. And the "SSAA A" and "SSAA B" look like the women's groups? Is that right? What do "SATB" and "SSAA" stand for? I guess that's what's throwing me off...or because I just got out of a grad class.

Also I believe all of the above choirs are already in the database, except for Clover Hill "Prote'ge" ... any info on that group? As in, what type of group (intermediate mixed, intermediate women's, etc.)
