I'm kind of surprised to see O'Gorman take Best Vocals from La Crosse Central considering this is the first time all season O'Gorman has grabbed BV, but then again I don't know much about O'Gorman. They must have sang their little hearts out.
OK, so how does this "Tier" system work, especially for finals?
I'm not sure specifically what the rules are for "Best of Show," but I would assume that all mixed groups would be eligible for finals. Competitions vary, though, in whether or not prep/women's groups are so I'm not sure about that. The "Tier" system is our way of trying to "standardize" divisions. So many different competitions use "Large/Small" or "AA/A" or "Advanced/Intermediate" and so on so forth. Tier is basically saying the same thing in a more uniform way throughout the site.
Perhaps someone attending "Best of Show" could clarify if any of the performing groups aren't eligible for finals.
I'll go along with this, but watch out for Marshall "Tiger Drive". They are improved somewhat this year.
The Dakota thought they ruled this part of the world at one time and that if they could win the battle at Fort Ridgely in Minnesota they could have kept going anywhere in the world.
Uhhh. So this is in South Dekota right?
Because it says AI on the calendar and on the directions.
Also, being as this is my part of the state, I can confirm that Sioux Falls IS in South Dakota. Though the outskirts of the city do come extremely close, they does not stretch across the state border.
For those not extremely familiar with this part of the midwest (the quad state area), it can be confusing because Sioux City, Iowa and Sioux Falls, South Dakota are the two biggest cities in the area.
Bet you can't guess which Native American tribe dominated these here parts way back when ;)

I messaged Haakon about it to see if he can just edit it. According to the school page and all that, the address is correct; the state is just listed as "IA" instead of "SD". The google map function, though, shows it properly as being in South Dakota. It will be updated shortly.
