Reading on facebook something about an error?

Can anyone confirm?

Looking forward to SoCal! Great way to finish the season and Tony and his students are great hosts. I hope you enjoy the Hart Sound Vibes "James Bond" set with the acapella "Skyfall".

Does anyone know what time the Intermediate Mixed Division (which I'm sure is probably going to take place day 1) is set to start?

I was told Day 1 (Friday) Intermediate Girls 2 pm and Intermediate Mixed 7 pm. I received that information almost 3 weeks ago, so I'm not sure if there have been any changes.

In order to attend the FAME Chicago Nationals, we had to move our choir auditions to the weekend of Chula. There wasn't a lot of options to move things around so late in the year.

I think losing 8 years in a row there to In Sync - some years when they had an otherwise perfect season (including 2009 in which they beat Clinton, Wheaton, Burbank, and North Central among others) had something to do with it. But I think taking BV/BC last year and then still losing was sorta the straw that broke the camel's back.

Burroughs has been to every SoCal since it started except one (this will be the second they will miss). I believe they will be back next year... just time for a break.

Fun fact... I have to doublecheck, but I think only three choirs have ever won SoCal: Burbank, Burroughs, and Bonita Vista.

Burroughs was definitely fantastic in 2009. But, they got 4th place at Diamond Bar that year, thus showing that they did not have a perfect season.

It looks like this will be the first time in several years that John Burroughs won't be at SoCal. Out of curiosity, what is the schedule conflict that kept John Burroughs from bringing their choirs?

Definitely a great judging panel, pretty excited for SoCal even though I'm going to be stuck in Boston haha.
