Yeah, it was pretty shocking. I read earlier in this thread from a Clover Hill student that one judge gave them 4's and 5's. They always do have a very intense show. I found that they just started to wear down towards the end of the show. But overall, very entertaining.
Thank you for your support!

I know I'm really late to this, but I'm genuinely shocked that Clover Hill placed so low. I thought they were good this season?

I was as well and made a similar comment previously. I don't think Clover Hill's placement here means that they aren't good. It was a tough competition. And the judges at Homestead, Solon, and Kecoughtan clearly thought Clover Hill was great as this is the only competition of the year that "New Dimensions" haven't won GC or won Best Vocals. So this Teays event is a bit of an outlier on their competition record. It might have been an off performance or judge or something. I think they will bounce back and finish well at SCN.

Thank you for your support!

THIS is why results can sometimes be confusing to a Crew member.

For women's it was:
1. Grosse Pointe
2. Riverdale
3. Hamilton

Women's results:
1st RU -Clover Hill Iridescence
GC- Grosse Pointe

So which is it? I'm assuming the second (which is already posted above) is correct, especially since it's coming from a director and considering that Riverdale didn't compete here...

I know Middle School Division Finished as follows
GC: Loveland (BC)
1RU: Ankeney (BV, Best Show Concept)
2RU: South Dearborn
3RU: Ferguson (Best Costumes)

Heard that South Dearborn Middle School got Outstanding Show Concept. At least that is the trophy I saw. lol
So... who got Best Show Design?

Cool thanks for all the clarification. Putting the pieces together from some of the previous posts is sort of difficult so I appreciate your help. Do you also happen to know the middle school results since you knew all that other stuff?

***** The best band award for Championship division should not be listed to Clover Hill. That was for the ladies division. The best band in Championship divisiin went to Olentangy.

This was a GREAT competition!! Everyone really brought it in finals. I wasn't even going to try to predict placements because I knew it'd have to be SO close. It was an awesome day and I enjoyed meeting everyone and I hope everyone else enjoyed our competition as well!

BB Clover Hill ( this was originally given in error to Grosse Point. It was retracted because they have a professional combo)

Good! I was saying that, during awards, cause I was confused as to how they could win it. Good to see students get it.
