Thanks. Final results posted. If someone can clarify the other captions, I would love to add them. Very interesting results. I don't think anyone expected Clover Hill to be as low as they were. Would anyone care to share their thoughts on shows tonight?

In addition, does anyone have Small Mixed, Women's, or Middle School results?

Small Mixed
GC: Southwestern (BV, BC)
1RU: Central Crossing
2RU: River Valley

I am very proud of our kids and of the shows they performed. We are grateful to have seen so many great shows this weekend. A HUGE shout out to our Teays Valley hosts and parents for being so amazing!

I am utterly shocked by Clover Hill's placement. They are by and large the best group I have seen this year. I really don't understand what goes through the judges' heads sometimes.

For women's it was:
1. Grosse Pointe

3. Hamilton

Not sure about the caption awards.

Middle School:
1. Loveland
2. Ankeney
3. South Dearborn
4. Ferguson

Again, not sure about captions.

Honestly I'm still a little confused because hasn't clover hill been to rocking since 2011? Could it really have been tat much of a different show? Show choir is weird

Clover Hill's show to me wasn't very strong. Vocally, to me the arrangements weren't too appealing. Choreographically it was pretty tight. The combo just wasn't the same Clover Hill as past years either.

But that's just my opinion.
Oh and to add, this breaks Clover Hill's Best Combo streak of 3 years I believe!

I personally had Loveland winning. They brought it in finals and the energy was there. GP was great but it fell off after the ballad. But it for sure felt like i was watching Center Grove ;)

Wow! I wish I could have seen Loveland's performance at finals...I was told they were 4RU going into finals. They must have had a kick-butt performance. Good for them. Good for everyone! Loved seeing everyone's show today!

This was my first competition as a semi-alum, and I'm so happy to have made it to be with my Teays friends! I arrived late due to traffic, but the Classic was nothing short of spectacular!
I was thrilled to see Van Buren and Hurricane, who I'd heard about, for the first time. Both of these choirs really tore up the stage, seeing such energy and intensity in performance is awesome. I felt privileged to spend time with Hurricane offstage as well, you all were so friendly and the solo competition contenders all deserve a special shout out. I just wish my choir could have seen more of both of these schools this year.
But man, I gotta say, what really blew my mind tonight was Grosse Pointe. Like, okay, holy crap. Definitely the best show from the best choir I have ever seen. It took all I could to remember when to applaud instead of just sitting in the front row with a huge dumb smile on my face. Their show was so positively riveting, the set, the costumes, the insanely strong vocals (seriously how?!) while doing such awesome choreography, the song choices, the props, did I mention the vocals (HOW?!?!)! Just, wow.
And of course for the finale of my stay, what I drove 4 hours to see, Teays Valley was brilliant. There's like nothing I can say about the show because it's just too cool. I mean, zombies. And Johnathan Coulton (been loving him for years, the song choice is just so awesome). And seeing my friends up there was great. Love you guys!
