Predictions for finalists in alphabetical order:

Emmetsburg
Mitchell
Sioux City East
Sioux Falls Washington
Sioux Falls O'Gorman

Aberdeen could swap out that last spot instead of Emmetsburg, but Aberdeen is always so hit-or-miss. They will have the "home field advantage", though. So we will see.

I really don't even know how this one will go. Based on history, Mitchell should take grand champions. But O'Gorman has really stepped it up the past couple years and Washington is finally back after a couple of down years. This competition could also be Sioux City East's 'break out show' after missing finals two competitions in a row for the first time in a ridiculously long time if ever.

PREDICTION

GC:Mitchell (Caption Sweep)
1RU:Sioux City East
2RU:Sioux Falls Washington
3RU:Sioux Falls O'Gorman
4RU:Emmetsburg "High Voltage"

Actually, placement awards are given in all classes. The finals are selected from the top five overall scores of the day round. Single gender and prep are seperate divisions.
Well I guess we will already know the daytime placements for Tier II and Tier III. Thank you for clarification, this is why it's great to have directors on the site! Event has been updated.

Before I add the schedule above, I have two questions:

1) Is the single-gender division separate from the prep division? As in, will they be handing out separate awards for the women's groups and prep groups? I assume so, since the schedule indicates different divisions, but just wanted to clarify.
2) Is 4A, 3A, 2A, and 1A all separate divisions? I know some competitions on this side of the Midwest group their 2A and 1A groups together for awards. I can add them separately or combine them, just let me know.

Thanks

1) I believe single-gender is separate from the prep division.
2) 4A, 3A, 2A, and 1A would all be considered Mixed Division. If I remember correctly in past years, there are no preliminary awards for these classes and everyone who competes in finals is open/mixed. So, go ahead and combine them, but keep single-gender and prep as separate divisions.

Thanks!
