Oh why not. I like predicting competitions where I haven't seen 90% of the groups. ;D

Predictions:

GC: Carroll (vocals)
1RU: Findlay (visuals)
2RU: Anderson
3RU: Poca
4RU: Dwenger
5RU: Chesterton/Carroll girls/Churubusco/Northridge/Columbia City/Anderson girls/Me

lol Somebody is getting in!

I get what you're saying, but I would hardly consider Findlay "First Edition" to be having a bad season. They have 2nd (Ada), 4th (Marysville), and 3rd (Medina) place finishes with loses to Twinsburg, Solon, and Fairfield. FFE will most definitely be contending for the GC, but Carroll has been having an excellent season. As usual, it should be a great Luers competition!
I completely agree with you, we were actually discussing this in class today how Findlay has had a pretty good season comparing whom they are up against. Anyways, my guess on predictions is going to be schools already listed in previous comments no specific order; because anything could happen. Good luck to everyone going and can't wait for this day!

To add to the nightmare, Findlay has not been doing too hot this season, although they always do well at Luers. Poca has not competed against any of the schools that will be there this year and last year Anderson beat Poca going into the night show but was beat in the finals. Personally (obviously I am biased) but I think Anderson is much better than we were last year and Luers for some reason has always treated us well! We've already seen at least three of the judges. I have a feeling carrol will win this one but to be honest, I think the 2-6 spots could be anyone's game. I am stoked to see how this one turns out! Also I wouldn't be surprised if the rankings going into the night show change. I cannot wait for this weekend!

This competition is a nightmare to predict because the point spread between GC and 5RU is going to be very minimal. That being said my FINALS PREDICTIONS ARE:

GC: Carroll (Vocals)
1RU: Poca (Visuals)
2RU: Findlay
3RU: Bishop Dwenger
4RU: Anderson
5RU: Northridge

At this point in the game, betting against Carroll seems foolish. They have three championships under their belt and will benefit the most from Luers' judging system (dropping the highest and lowest scores). That being said, Findlay and Poca consistently do well at this competiton and it will not be surprising if the three of them play musical chairs.

As for the bottom half, Dwenger and Anderson are locked in an intense rivalry where both choirs are evenly matched. Those two could easily flip as well. For 5RU I couldn't decide between Northridge and Chesterton, but because I haven't heard anything about the Sandpipers this year and Northern Lights won the Small School division at Ben Davis, I'm giving it to them.

My Predictions in no particular order Anderson, Dwenger, Carroll, Chesterton, Poca, Findlay.
This will be an amazing competition and I honestly don't have a clue who's going to take this one! Good luck to everyone! I'm especially excited to see Findlay this year, there show last year was so great! I can't wait for this weekend!

I see there are 6 spots for finals - is that just the mixed groups? are there finalists for women's division?

Wow. This is going to be a bloodbath. I'll have to see how the next two weeks play out before making predictions.

Classes are not included on the schedule. So, I guess we won't know what the deal is until we get to the competition.

In past years, Bishop Luers has used A/B/C class divisions, but they aren't included in the schedule above. We have plenty of time, but if someone would be able to provide that it would be great.
