Congratulations to all the performing groups today! It was, as always, a great competition to be a part of!
I spent most of the day locking and unlocking doors for groups, so I did not get to see the morning performances, but neither Lawrence Central group made finals. They were shocked (as was I), however, they decided to stay and watch the finals performances. They were loud, obnoxious, and rude during most of the performances. They were running around in the aisles, knocking into people, and talking throughout shows. While this was happening, their director was sitting directly behind them not saying a word. I understand what it's like to not make finals. It's frustrating. But those groups performing worked JUST as hard as you and they do not deserve to be disrespected like that. They were not the ones that didn't put you in finals, the judges were. You were bitter: I get it. But sit there quietly and don't say anything. Don't clap if you don't feel like it. But you should never disrespect another group by talking through their performance. I was so disappointed that their director didn't get up and say anything to them. They also left immediately after the last group performed, and didn't even stay to support the host group. If you're going to stay for all of that, might as well support the group that helped put the show together that you were privileged to be a part of.

By the way, does anyone have the finals schedule? When will each division start because Pike normally does Concert choir in finals too?
Finals are supposed to start at 6 starting with the women. 7:35 for concert choir and 8:35 for mixed. At least, this is according to the information posted on FC Singers website.
