It surely is a blessing. I went to Luther with Ryan. He is an incredible talent and most certainly will turn their program back in the right direction!

You should be used to Valley having a new director every year by now ;) We made a habit of it when I was in high school...but anywho, I've heard good things about Valley's show this year from past members of Choralation..so take from that what you want. No idea what to expect. But either way I'll be rooting for Choralation from Utah
Valley also has a new director, who did Wash's prep last year. They were really successful making finals twice, and winning prep another time. I have no clue what Valley's show is like, but they could be really good with him.

Valley had a very interesting show last year that it took a couple times to see before I really enjoyed it and many judges penalized them for it, so I'm guessing they'll go more traditional this year and hit it pretty hard.

Really this one could go a lot of different ways. I think that the top two are pretty set in stone, but this early in the season anything can happen.
2RU-5RU is a complete guessing game. Sioux City East struggled last year under new direction but I don't expect them to stay down long and this could be a break out year. Valley had a very interesting show last year that it took a couple times to see before I really enjoyed it and many judges penalized them for it, so I'm guessing they'll go more traditional this year and hit it pretty hard. Xavier and Central seemed to have highs and lows last year if I remember right (too lazy to look), so honestly who knows who will finish where.

I meant to add: Show Choirs will be performing in our new (and substantially larger) gymnasium. The new gym is attached to the high school. As in the past, visitors will want to enter the building in the main building entrances, which are west of the gym.
(Jazz Choirs will still perform in the Auditorium, which is right beside the Commons/cafeteria area.)
