I believe that Steven Todd, who works with ATSC swayed judges in the final vote. LSW won best combo and best female vocalist during the day and then gets 3rd??? Something smells rotten here. If you work with a show choir, you shouldn't be a judge in any of their competitions. I watched all the performances... got to say my mouth dropped when the final results were announced. Not right.

I am relying on people who were there to come on here and write some reviews so I can know what people think of all of the choirs. Help me out guys. Please? Before this topic is forgotten about.

That is impressive - 3rd week in a row that they've not only exceeded expectations (or at least, SCC predictions), and moved up in finals no less. I bet a lot of groups would like to know what the heck they're doing in their weekly rehearsals, not to mention the brief spot of time in between prelims and finals - whatever they're up to, it seems to be working!
You could tell earlier in the year they had the show and vocals to go from good to great later on, all they had to do is clean up a bit of choreo and it is obvious they have! They are definitely a force in every competition! Also they have one of my favorite openers this year

ATSC received 3 first place votes.
I almost included this tidbit. You guys definitely deserved the win! Well done <: I wish I could have seen the show this year. In person, I mean.

Johnston technically beat ATSC by 4 vocal points and tied for choreo (ATSC had a higher choreo score than Johnston in prelims, hence BC) but ATSC won by overall points. I'M JUST SAYING JOHNSTON IS AWESOME. Good for you guys. <:

Congrats to Johnston for an incredible day!

I know Johnston is feeling pretty confident about beating SW, but (and I'll happily eat my hat on this if I'm proven wrong) I think SW had a bad week/wasn't trying their best/were all sick as dogs at Norris, and I think Johnston really wanted it and performed a kickass show. I think this week SW will be back to their usual selves.

anyone know scores from prelims?

I do not. But I know partial rankings from daytime:

1: ATSC
2: TG
3: Johnston
4: LSW

I'll be eager to see how finals changes it!
