Anyone know who were the judges at this competition this year? Randomly wondering.

How can you win best vocal and choreography and come in second? Someone got screwed big time !
Fame judges should be ashamed! CGSS-you are amazing and you got royally F****D!

It's not like it's the first time it has happened. It happened last year to Burroughs at SoCal and to Totino in 2011 at Fame Chicago. This stuff happens, it doesn't necessarily mean they got screwed. Every group needs to make sure they bring it even more for finals than they did in prelims. Not saying that CenterGrove didn't bring it for finals, but Bemidji obviously made a bigger improvement from their daytime show.
Anyway, congratulations to all groups on their placements, I'm sure it was close

Also, uh, this is awkward, but, uh, I went to 'thumbs down' your post and accidentally clicked the thumbs up. My bad. Ignore that +1.

Lol I don't know why people even make posts like this. It just makes you look like a -- well, a word I won't use.

If you would READ, you would have learned that captions were given during day time. A completely different performance than the one that final placements were based off of.

I had CG in first, but they did have:
1. Tap dancing
2. YCSTB and
3. Nerd glasses routine

so 3 strikes you're out, perhaps.

I lol'd so hard at this.

I'll try to get scores. Must have been close.
I'm sure it was. I do know that CG was leading in prelims by a good number of points with a point between Bemidji and Sullivan. Congrats to Bemidji on their win!

Hmm I really think FAME missed the mark on this one. Not in regard to Bemidji/Center Grove, because I don't know anything about either show; missed the mark in terms of logistics for FAME Chicago 2013.

With only six competing mixed show choirs, what is the reasoning for hosting a Finals performance? Hollywood had nine and didn't hold finals. And many competitions across the nation include six groups for Finals. And if you are going to hold finals, why only invite three choirs back for Finals? Yet announce the overall placements (1st-6th)? I understand three is half of six, but the fourth place position is equally important in the event that a qualifying choir (top three) chooses not to attend the National Finals. It would default to the fourth place group and the fourth place group's placement was based on prelims, not finals. Seems bizarre. And if you are going to have finals, at least wait and give captions based off of that performance.

Regardless of the logistics, congrats to all groups that competed and enjoy your time in Chicago!

OHHH. Thank you Wyatt.

I hate when competitions do daytime captions. Like come on.

I was completely thrown off. Haha.
