Black and Gold lost a competition earlier in the season. Since DM Lincoln Omega is the only prep group this year, Mr. Walg was asked if he would like to have some competition and Omega agreed to have Black and Gold enter as a prep show choir participant.
Prep Des Moines Lincoln “Omega” 9:50 10:15 10:20
Prep Emmetsburg “Black and Gold” 10:15 10:40 10:45
Also, you've listed Black and Gold in the prep division... is this supposed to be exhibition or are they competing here? Just need clarification.
I really think this competition could go a few different ways. There are three, maybe four groups could see taking grand champion here with a good show. So I'm not going to predict exact placements.
GC-3RU in alphabetical order:
Des Moines Lincoln
Dowling Catholic
Janesville Craig
Sioux Falls Washington
4RU
Norwalk
5RU-6RU
Carroll
North St. Paul
Sheldon* Could challenge SF for 1A/2A champ or could even snag an open spot.
Sumner Fredericksburg* 1A/2A champion.
I think GC-3RU is set, but I could see 4RU-6RU going many different ways. I do think Norwalk will finish 4RU. I also think there will be four groups fighting for the last two spots. One is guaranteed to a 1A/2A school, but it wouldn't surprise me to see another qualify here. Carroll has dropped A LOT the last couple years and North St. Paul is just a complete mystery so yes these are my predictions!
Thanks, Mr. Fog. I started entering your divisions but there is great confusion over one of the schools attending, so I need to wait until I can get that sorted out. I would make some phone calls today, but being that it's Sunday, everything is closed. Hang in there and we'll get it handled as soon as possible.
