ok, so i think i might be getting old. i had to leave early. i couldn't make it through finals. i honestly have no idea how i used to wake up at 4 am after maybe 5 hours of sleep, get on a bus, go to a school, do hair, do crew, do my hair, perform and repeat and get home at 3am. i am beat. but! i have a few notes!
first off, i would like to thank bloomington for hosting such a wonderful competition. i have never been at a competition that went as smoothly. there were no lines, no mix ups, reasonably priced food and a wonderful emcee. all of the volunteers and parents were gracious and helpful. it was completely lovely and i feel bad for the people who missed out on this great event. everyone should try to make it next year! january 8th right?
i would also like to note that i am very sad that i missed ESS and i won't be seeing RIG tonight as they are some of my favorites. i really feel a weird bond to bloomington kennedy and i love watching you perform. see you at star power!
Watching the live stream...they gave awards to the top 2 prep groups - Waconia The Current (1st) & Jefferson Jive (2nd), so they must have had 2 divisions...but they just took the Top 6 scores overall.
