I'll change mine. Since the final placements have nothing to do with points and is by ranking if I was a judge (which I am not) I would do this:

GC: WV
1RU: BG
2RU: Clinton
3RU: Prospect
4RU: Mitchell
5RU: Decatur

BV: WV
BC: Clinton

Mm, that's what I thought. Also, is your name a reference to The Room? If so, I totally approve.

So, predictions on how this will go? And to those that made them earlier, any changes?

Yes sir!

Okay, here goes predictions from what I saw...This is tough:

GC: Waubonsie Valley (Vocals)
1RU: Clinton (Choreo)
2RU: Buffalo Grove
3RU: Prospect
4RU: Eisenhower
5RU: Mitchell

I had Prospect above BG, but something in my gut made me have to put BG ahead. So. Close. All of these groups were SO FREAKING GOOD. Like Patrick said on Twitter, all the groups brought it for finals. I wonder if I'll be close to right at all, I see it being that close. Can't wait to find out! Good luck to all in awards!

I don't think they were meant to fall quite that soon. The second one I mean. The first one fell according to plan, but the second one came down too early, I believe.

I sure would hate to be a judge.

Was Attache's backdrop meant to fall so soon? Not that it really matters if it wasn't.

so mitchell just lucked into finals, huh??.... :o)
It goes to show how close it all was. I don't think he is saying there was any "luck" it was just the way the chips fell. If it was rankings/raw scores If I heard correctly it would have been urbandale in over Mitchell but that is not the way this competition is doing it.

From what I gathered Urbandale was tied for 5th with Eisenhower in rankings and 4th in raw score. Eisenhower got 5th over urby because i believe that their highest ranking was higher than U-Dale's. They then went to some new part of the system that sent Urby to 7th instead of 6th even though both score and rankings were above Mitchell....wierd but welcome to the world of show choir!
The competition handbook posted on WWS's web-site shows that they are trying to use the Fehr Fair system, but I don't think they are applying it right.

Watching the live feed, I am happy to lessen quality to obtain little to no buffering. I am pleased. Good luck to all!

They've all done incredibly well so far. It'll be interesting to see how the results go.

In my opinion waubonsie just pretty much went out and left it all out there. Pure greatness.

I seriously LOVE Prospect's show. Just great.
I do too. I thought BG was stronger vocally in a few places, but Prospect's show was just really fresh and fun to watch. Also, the "Dream" soloist was amazing. That whole number was, actually.

BG was so much better. They still had pitch issues in the Whitacre but then again who doesn't?

I feel bad for the guys talking by the camera for the live stream. They are unknowingly sharing their conversation with everyone watching it

BG was great! It was awesome to hear an acapella in the set... and Whitacre is the best. I also thought their show flowed really well. Things are heating up!
