I have never had the privilege of seeing Clover Hill before. I've heard they are really good though. I really look forward to seeing them this weekend! I've seen all the other groups listed in your top picks, and know they all have really good shows. Should be exciting!

This person is a crew member for Teays Valley. Please don't be too hard on him though. He is autistic, so that is why you will see his attention to detail. His post by many may seem a little harsh, but it is just that he loves his school and has a lot of passion for show choir. Please try not to take him the wrong way. Now...don't get him started on the Buckeyes! LOL.
As for this competition, I can see this being anyone's game. Many of these choirs have been up against each other before and some have placed ahead of them at one time and other comps it has flip flopped. I guess just like any competition it will be dependent on the judges taste and also how well each school performs for that day. I'm sure each group wants to win the GC just as badly as the other. It should be a great competition! I look forwarded to watching everyone and wish you all the best!
I'll be judging combo this weekend, and looking for key classical and romantic elements in the music. Remember, I don't know what an electric guitar is, so don't even bother with one. Points will be awarded for creative use of half cadences. There is also a special caption award for best pianoforte solo. Powdered wigs? Extra points.

I started doing these thinking Piqua was 'Poca'. Piqua does the best version of Some Nights I've heard all year. Teays Valley has an awesome show this year. I wish I knew more about Clover Hill, but everyone else seems to think that they will sweep so, root for the underdog, right? For 6th, I just couldn't decide on who will show out. Piqua could win, Clover Hill could win, or Teays Valley could win. This competition will be great!
