I think various groups could vie for third place (Brea, FFE, Hastings, etc.), but I like MtZ just because I think they're an interesting choir and always seem to finish strong (I believe they got 3rd place last year at the Fame Finals?).
Oops
But you could still make predictions! They're simply awarding GC, 1RU, and 2RU along with a slew of captions. I suppose my predictions would be the following:
GC: Wheaton-Warrenville South "The Classics" (BC) (BB)
1RU: Los Alamitos "Sound FX" (BV)
2RU: Mt. Zion "Swingsations"
I think it's between WWS and Los Al for the top spot, as many others have noted. I really think it could go either way; WWS has had a remarkable year and is in the midst of an impressive winning streak as the defending champions and Los Al has had a great year as well. Technically both groups are undefeated, so it'll be a show down. I guess I'm giving the edge to WWS, because I've seen their show via youtube and not Los Al's, also considering that WWS has beat quite a few noteworthy schools some of which made it to these Finals. I gave Choreo and Band to WWS, because they've won those captions several times already this year (I mean, who can beat WWS' dancing?) and Vocals to Los Al, because those SoCal groups know how to sing! It should be a fierce competition. Good luck to all competing groups next weekend!
There actually isn't a finals portion due to the new FAME format changes. It's a single-performance only and then awards...as noted by FAME on page 1 of this topic:
Saturday is a single performance opportunity beginning with the girls National Finals in the morning and moving into the mixed National Finals immediately following the conclusion of the girls groups.
Brea Olinda "Masquerade"
Edgewood "Music Warehouse"
Los Alamitos "Sound FX"
Mt. Zion "Swingsations"
Wheaton Warrenville South "Classics

Good lord Why must chicago be so far away
Because John Burroughs will not be attending the finals, Shepherd Hill Regional High School's "Fantasy" will be the mixed group attending. And according to this, Manchester "Capital Swing" isn't going either? So then as far as I know, the only groups attending from the FAME New York competition are:
Mixed:
Daniel Hand High School "Vibe" (CT)
Shepherd Hill Regional High School "Fantasy" (MA)
Single-Gender:
Shepherd Hill Regional High School "Illusion" (MA)
Pretty excited about the representation from New England! We often times get overlooked!
