WOW MAX COOL. Half-Time Heroines are going to blow those Part-Time Heroes losers out of the water! I hear they're super pretty. Especially that one with the curly hair.

and the tall blonde one.

I heard a rumor (has not been absolutely positively confirmed) that Part-Time Heroes are performing..

Gonna go out on a limb here and do some predictions:

GC: Part-Time Heroes (BV)
1RU: Josiah Berry (BC)
2RU: Full-Time Marshalls (BB)
3RU: The Hawaiian Shaved Ice Stand
4RU: John Pohland (Spirit Award)
5RU: Half-Time Heroines

The bottom three could go anyway, I've just heard some bad things about the Half-Time Heroines. Specifically their lack of JDR 5.

In all seriousness though, is there a full schedule out yet???

I'm excited for part-time heroes. i worked with nick ramm at valleyfair last summer and he told me he's performing with them.

Any additional info you could need will be on Waconia's website.

Glad you guys love Star Power so much, it's definitely one of my favorite competitions as well!

Basically, Waconia has the best hosts EVER because they did the limbo with us last year

Thanks! It should probably be mentioned that The Current and Part-Time Heroes are performing as exhibition acts as well. Although, it would be really funny to see an SCC staff member try to put PTH as a competing choir. Prepare yourselves for some heroic alumni a'capella jams.

I'm excited for part-time heroes. i worked with nick ramm at valleyfair last summer and he told me he's performing with them. honestly, star power is my favorite competition: the gymatorium doesn't get freakishly hot, i like the screens way up on the sides, i love power company, the groups that go are always fun to watch, and i love hanging out with my friends right outside our room. last year, some of our people started a game of limbo and it grew and a ton of people from other choirs joined in. i'm sad that RIG isn't going cause i have some really good friends from kennedy. i really hope i'll be able to see vocalmotive, but it'll have to be in finals. AAAHHH! I can't wait for saturday!

the top three might be a toss-up. vocalmotive and connection were pretty close in Eau Claire and OASC has an amazing show. I haven't seen vocalmotive, but they've always been good.

I agree, the top three spots are probably going to be super close, (At least I hope they are!)
but I'm pretty sure that Vocalmotive is going to get best choreo, and that Connection is going to get best band. Vocals, though, I think are still up for grabs.

Predictions:
Vocalmotive (BC) / OASC ( BV)
Vocalmotive / OASC / Connection (BB)
Connection
Celebration / Tiger Drive
Celebration / Tiger Drive
Jive

I got to see Vocalmotive and Connection at Winterfest. I loved both of the shows and I thought they both had there Huge ups and slight downs. From what i've been hearing about OASC is that we did amazing with all of us at a low so the top three are pretty much interchangable. Best band though without a doubt to connection! Should be an amazing competition, good luck to Everyone!!!!

Edited Predictions (I learned a little bit more about the choirs):
Vocalmotive
OASC/ Jefferson Connection
OASC/Jefferson Connection
Jefferson JIVE
Tiger Drive

Vocalmotive has a wonderful show this year and their vocals are as strong as ever! I feel like Vocalmotive will most likely sweep, but Old Abe is also a strong contender for Best Vocals (you guys always sound amazing). The next prediction is biased but I think Connection Band has a pretty good chance at taking Best Band (we love you)

All right. I'm gonna make some early (and probably biased) predictions

GC: Vocalmotive
1RU: Connection
2RU: OASC
3RU: Southside Sensation/Celebration
4RU: whichever above choir doesn't get 3RU/Tiger Drive
5RU: whichever above doesn't get 4RU/Jive

the top three might be a toss-up. vocalmotive and connection were pretty close in Eau Claire and OASC has an amazing show. I haven't seen vocalmotive, but they've always been good. I haven't seen southside sensation or tiger drive so i'm just going off of those choirs in the past and i don't know anything about celebration. I think Jive will make finals cause they beat LVB and encore singers in Eau Claire

There are indeed only a few! It's kinda a bummer, but I only counted 6 AA groups! But it's still a great competition, my favorite last year!
