I've seen from Urbandale through Hastings. Literally everyone brought their A game today. So glad I'm not judging this competition. Ha that said. Urbandale had some pretty outstanding vocals. Bemidji rocks hard too!
This will be my first time NOT being at Spectacular since my first year of show choir in1998!!! Bemidji has been to every TG comp year so far! Ending the season at TG was always my favorite thing about our year, and even as a director, and now choreographer, always loved going there!

From looking at other people's predictions, people may think I'm crazy for thinking Spots are going to make finals. Maybe im just biased b/c I have seen their show numerous times and love it. But they got a good thing going! Best of luck to all the groups! I wish I could be there, ill be down at a good one in Chicago though. Go Spotlighters! :D
My personal predictions:
GC: Urbandale
1RU: Mitchell
2RU: Bemidji
3RU: Hastings
4RU: Jefferson
5RU: Kennedy
These will probably be wrong for starters. Honestly, I think that the first 4 spots could go any way. If Mitchell has a knock-out show and Urbandale has an off day I don't think it'd be out of the question for those two to switch. That being said, I've read nothing but good things about Bemidji too. They could probably place higher if they, too, bring a lights-out show. As for Hastings, they personally have my favorite show of the season so I'll be rooting for them do well, which they very well could. The top 4 will duking it out which should be fun to watch. As for Jefferson and Kennedy, I'm not too familiar with their shows this season so I placed them at the bottom but I'm sure they'll do just great!
The overall competition is going to be SUPER exciting. All groups will bring their A-game to place at the top and I would love to be there, but I'll be at Emmetsburg Iowa cheering on my own show choir. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE GROUPS SATURDAY!

Can't wait to host, it is so fun! Show choir fans sure make the day fly by, everyone is so nice and excited to be there. Love to see the spirit wear and all the crazy pom pom fingers, glow sticks, etc.
Can't decide what to say for the other three! I know RIG, Connection, and FDC will be in there but I have no idea how Mitchell is doing this year and both RIG and Connection have impressed me pretty much equally this year. Should be interesting!

2nd RU: Bemidji/Hastings/Urbandale
3rd RU: Mitchell
4th RU: Jefferson

I can't decide how the top three will go. I think it is most likely going to be GC:Urbandale. I would like to see it be Hastings (obvious given my association. lol) but I have no idea. I haven't seen Bemidji or Urbs this year. I am trying to base it off of records and videos. lol

I feel like 3-5 RU are gonna be too close for comfort between Bemidji, the Spotlighters, RIG, and Connection. We've all done very well this season so it'll be interesting to watch!

idk about jefferson and bemidji. i haven't seen scores from finals at waconia, but i have a feeling it was very close. jefferson was like 1 point behind bemidji after prelims so that spot is a total toss up
Yeah i understand they are JV/prep/womens groups but the schedule has them after North St. Paul so that is why I ask!
Do you know if it is a separate division for women's groups here?
It is Class A and AA. No division for women's vs. mixed.
