So I try not to be the spelling professor, but this is really bothering me because the group name is misspelled all over this site including on the results page from Muscatine's competition last weekend (and apparently on the Great River schedule on their website).

Waukee's varsity show choir is named Millennium. The word has two n's in it.

This is going to be such an intense competition... AS ALWAYS!

So the list stands at-

HALF of this list has already won a competition this season... Kennedy (2), Waukee (1), Wheaton (1), Linn Mar (1).

(Weren't Kennedy and Linn-Mar tied for like everything in finals so they had to use day time vocal scores?)

Great River converts scores into rankings for finals. I believe what happened was Kennedy and Linn-Mar were tied in ranking points after finals so they went to tiebreakers. The 1st tiebreaker was finals vocal score. They were tied in that category. Then I believe the 2nd tiebreaker is day round vocal score. While CR Washington actually had the highest vocal score in day round, Kennedy was 2nd and had a higher vocal score than Linn-Mar so they won the tiebreaker. I believe choreography did go squarely to Kennedy, though I'm sure not by much.

I cannot wait for this competition. Always hosted well by West and Central. I haven't seen Wheaton this year but let's but honest- we all know they are amazing. I've seen Linn-Mar in the exhibition at Supernova and while they did amazing there too, i'm trying to imagine how much better it will be for real! Also Kennedy did very well at Supernova but they still have a lot of things to fix (Linn-Mar too). I'm imagining that this one might be as close as last year's Great River. (Weren't Kennedy and Linn-Mar tied for like everything in finals so they had to use day time vocal scores?)
