A big shout out to Hastings for putting on an awesome competition. It was the most fun I have had in 4 years at a competition(not including the days leading up to FAME Orlando). Also a shout out to the Totino kids that I met....I think it was Whitney and Megan....you were both really nice. Also St. Francis........you guys were great. I went into the auditorium to watch dowling and troy and luckily got in to see you guys because I was blown away with the potential that your program has in the future. You absolutely blew me away with how good such a young program could be.

Note that the ATSC band was not eligible for Best Band due to an adult accompanist.

This was the most fun I've had a competition in a while! I was only able to make finals-and it was great to see everyone who performed. The groups there were not the usual ones I see, so it was awesome to see some new shows and so much talent.

A HUGE shout out to St. Francis. Wow. Your were amazing. I was looking forward to seeing your show after you got "our" Luke and Ana. Ana said you were jumping into the varsity level with both feet, and you are right were you should be. I can't believe this is your first year performing. You look like you've been doing it for years. And to make finals? Way to go. Your show was so polished, and your vocals were wonderful. You should be very proud. I can see that you will be a force to reckon with in the years to come. Keep it up-you have two wonderful leaders who are passionate about what they do. I can't wait to see you at Spectacular next weekend again!

Finally-thanks to the Hastings parents and community for putting on a great competition. It is so well run and the friendliness of everyone is great! This is my favorite competition to attend every year!

I watched videos that I could find and put that together from what I saw from ATSC saturday and here are my ROUGH predictions. Some kind of disclaimer should go here also about them being my own and I don't mean to offend.

GC:ATSC/Totino
1RU:Totino/ATSC
2RU:Troy/RIG
3RU:RIG/TROY
4RU:Gretna
5RU:Dowling
watch for any of the other schools to sneak into that final spot in finals. It happened with Bellevue West at Ralston Rammageddon this last saturday

BB:ATSC...I mean come on they beat mitchell's band who is always really good
BC:Totino/ATSC....gonna give the slight edge to totino on this but ill keep ATSC in the hunt because the changes they made really helped
BV:ATSC....the ballad just gets me. I had tears in my eyes as I watched it at Ralston just because of how beautifully it was sung and interpreted.

In the above rankings the group listed first in the ties is the group I give the slight edge to. I just can't get past how totino got swept by waconia. I mean waconia is REALLY REALLY good this year but totino just shouldn't get swept. Also in the videos they looked a lot smaller numbers wise than usual.

Edited predictions.....
2RU:Troy
3RU:RIG

Top two spots still between totino and ATSC
