I cant't make a prediction without being biased, haha..but I just wanted to point out again that it is a timed competition so it'll be interesting with GCS and the added raisers and lights and Mt.Zion's raiser configurations. I'm soo excited to see my choirs and little sister perform for their first time this year!! Wishing everyone the best of luck, I can't wait!!

Saw GCS at Viterbo and they were VERY clean. I was sitting in the 3rd balcony so i couldn't hear them very well. Its gonna be close between all the groups that make finals!

Predictions:
GC: Mt Zion/GCS
1RU:GCS/Mt Zion
2RU: Bloomington Kennedy/Milton
3RU: Milton/Bloomington Kennedy
4RU: Sauk/Monona Grove
5RU: Monona Grove/Sauk

I could also see Neenah make finals instead of Monona.

Sooooooooooo Excited for thsi competition!!!

Ooh, another good Wisconsin competition! Blargh.

Predics:
GC: GCS (BV, BB)
1RU: Mt. Zion (BC)
2RU: Bloomington Kennedy
3RU: Sauk Prairie
4RU: Milton
5RU: Monona Grove

Gus I like your predictions a lot. Wouldn't be surprised to see Mt. Zion beat GCS though. I had them winning last year. Will be very close between the two. 3-5 should be close too. Also wouldn't be surprised to see a Holmen, Neenah, or LAX Logan in that 6th spot.

Also, I'm not sure how the order was chosen, but it will be fun to perform last in the day. I'm not sure if it will help or hurt our scores, but it's something I've never done before, so it should be interesting.

Going last can hurt or help. It really depends on the performance and judges moods. I have seen times when groups got a MAJOR boost going last. I've also seen where going last can hurt, especially if your show doesn't have as much energy as previous shows. If the judges are awake, it usually doesn't hurt.

My gosh! This is going to be a tough one! I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the only ones in finals for sure will be LaX Central and Mt. Zion (assuming they learned their lesson about time penalties last year). The other four spots are up for grabs in my opinion. It will be interesting to see how Logan holds out in the first year with a new director.

From a Sauk perspective, it will be hard to compete with choirs that have had their show since August, considering we started barely two months ago. Also, I'm not sure how the order was chosen, but it will be fun to perform last in the day. I'm not sure if it will help or hurt our scores, but it's something I've never done before, so it should be interesting.

I'm pretty sure Mt. Zion is good since they didn't have any time penalties the rest of the year last year.

Mt. Zion, LC Central, LC Logan, Holmen and Sauk are all I know so far, that are going!

*And by creeping/searching on google, it looks like Milton, Colby and Anamosa (IA) are planning to come as well, but then again, I could be wrong.*
