It was a very good competition! I was extremely impressed with all the groups that were there. Carmel...all I can say is WOW. Your vocals would have won you the Grand Champion anywhere! Pike...Great Show...loved your excitement, you are a class act! Thank you for coming to our invitational! Avon...I really enjoyed your show, the costume in the first number was very impressive and intimidating. Kokomo...Your show was very entertaining as well as one of my favorites of the entire day! Twin Lakes...a little bird told me that this was your first final...EVER! I'm not sure if that was true, if it is, thank you for allowing Carroll to be part of your history. Hopefully this will become the first of many, many finals for you.

so....any predictions? the only groups i know anything about are pike and carmel. as much as i would like to see pike take it, i think it will be a carmel sweep in both divisions with pike in a close second. anything i have after 2nd in mixed is just a shot in the dark. idk about any of the groups haha

We would have liked to return to the first week but we also are hosting ISSMA Jazz contest which takes place that weekend and are in the basketball sectional rotation so we have to stay on the second weekend now.

I knew that, I just didn't realize how few groups chose to return to Carroll after last year. Not sure why that is, seemed to be a well-run competition and the groups present were great, as evidenced by some of the groups that didn't make finals last year.

Any chance Carroll could return to the first weekend next year? Then the only other comps around here would be Luers...

Wow...this is not nearly the amount or quality of groups I usually expect at Carroll. What happened?

Both Norwell and East Noble are having theirs on the same day as Carroll

it's the same date as EN's invite this year...so unfortunately there's zero chance of me making it. Sad, because last year Carroll was on an off week for us so I came and watched finals. Was a fantastic evening with a lot of fantastic groups.

This is always one of the best competitions around the northern Indiana area! Great food, amazing choirs at an awesome venue! If you're in the area...or even if you're not...this is the place to be!
