All high school groups are competing against each other to advance to finals. The middle school groups we have coming are competing against each other, but there is no finals for middle school.

alright thanks i think i understand it now.

i think i understand now.....but basically all groups are competing against each other regardless of what tier they are?

I haven't seen some of these shows, but I was really impressed with Findlay when I saw them at Marysville. I definitely think that they have the potential to take the GC here! Can't wait to hear the results. Good luck to all groups!

Normally classes are based on either group size or school size. I believe there is one more 'qualification' for classes but it is slipping my mind at the moment.

Tier 1 is the highest class competing at the competition, and so on and so forth.

So if a competition has no class A groups competing then Class B would automatically labeled as "Tier 1" for the competition.

Each region has their different terminology so what Häakon is trying to do is make something a bit more universal for SCC.

Tier = Class

Tier 1 means Class A

and so forth.

so then we must be class b...is it like band and based on school size or is it different?

I'm gonna step right up here and tell my kids to chill on the posting. This is the Medina Midwest Showcase post, not the "kids from Marysville with opinions post". We're all show choir nerds, but let's keep it in check, eh? - Mr. A
