This weekend was amazing and inspirational. Our (Grand River Singer's) message this year is to be yourself and to love who you are. It is astounding to hear that after our show this weekend, several of our cast members were approached by spectators in the audience saying things such as "You don't know what you've done for me and how much you have helped me. Thank you." Bullying has GOT to stop, and I am so proud to say I am part of this group and that I helped at least one person in our audience - it all makes a difference and we all need to work together!

Thanks for the correction. Like I said, I was going off of memory and it was a long night.

So, I came on here to type this quick before I head for my hotel bed. This, was one of my favorite competitions (as a spectator). From my vantage point, the sound was terrific, the lights and the view could not have been better, and the ease of everything was great.

I heard from parents and performers that they had some complaints about the raised stage, including the stairs.

By the way, here is how I had it:

GC: Kennedy (BV, BC)
1RU: Logan
2RU: SC East
3RU: Bloomington Jefferson
4RU: Mundelein Mixed
5RU: Mundelein Girls

The Headliners, after a slow start to their season under their new director, have come out of no where the past few weekends. A major congratulations to them!

And a congrats to my future wife, Jessica Mayer and Jefferson Connection
