My hall of fame nominations (for now)
Most definitely I think powerhouse deserves to get their whole show nominated and people can think whatever they want. I personally think it's an amazing set and it was just a stunning year for them
Gravity<3
Los Al's opener, closer, and the song with muse in it!
Carlsbad's whole set. Just such a remarkable step up from last year and it was just entertaining to watch from start to finish.
Xtremes acapella!!

Please don't hate on my votes...

Hopefully you guys can all come down to the Burbank and Burroughs super show! Hopefully since it's at the starlight bowl, well get to see even bigger fireworks (;
Mr. A and everyone in Chula.. You guys deserve so much respect for running this huge competition and hopefully people get that memo!!

Pyrotechnics?! Falling curtains?! Amazing and eye-popping... The Stevens brothers were probably the two people working the hardest yesterday... Props to them and to all the tech crews involved.

However, to me the real stars are the kids who sang and danced their hearts out onstage. I thought the hightlight of the Powerhouse set was when they just stood and sang a beautiful arrangement of Gravity. Judges Choice and Best A Cappella awards were well deserved. Bravo!

And that was the best Sound Vibes performance I have seen in a few years. Congrats!!

Thank you so much! We loved our set so much this year, and it means so much to me/us to hear that other people liked it too! Yesterday was an amazing competition filled with AMAZING groups! Every single one of you is so talented!!!!! :D Days like yesterday make me realize that the show choir community is one of the biggest things I'll miss when I go to college this fall :>

How come Hart "Unleashed" isn't competing this year?

Unleashed had a slow start this year, and ironically planned on doing a Harry Potter set! After learning the opener, they heard about Los Al's set and decided to just drop Unleashed until next year

Los Alamitos SoundFX: Wow! I am super impressed with this years show. It was the absolute best show I have seen from you guys. I really hope you guys place in the top 2! And I loved the choice of songs. (Tie for 1st)

John Burroughs Powerhouse: Ah! Love the Star Wars theme and the fireworks were really cool! Many people are saying that it is an off year for you guys, but I disagree completely! Most impressive, and great job at showing that you don't have to be extremely bizarre every year. Loved the music, especially the ballad! You have some amazing 1st Tenors. (Tie for 1st)

Burbank In Sync: Eh. Not super impressed. A little too far off the deep end. Sure the choreo and vocals were there, I just wasn't satisfied with the show. Didn't flow well for me. It seems that you have a bizarre year then an amazing year and it repeats. This was definitely a bizarre one... (2nd/3rd)

According to SCC's popular opinion...

Man, I can't believe I didn't go this year and I missed out on the good stuff! Something like that just won't get me the cool points. Thank goodness for the live feed.

Los Alamitos Sound FX - I don't think you guys should be discouraged by placing third in this competiton. Your show rocked and it's honestly the best performance I've seen coming from you guys so far. You've all come this far and you've made me proud to have graduated from Los Al. Keep it up and you will reach the promise land in the future.

Burroughs Powerhouse - Okay, after watching your show I dare the original cast of Star Wars to perform the same set. Yes, they must sing, especially Darth Vader whether he likes it or not, they must dance, they must use the kind of backdrop you guys had, and they MUST use pyrotechnics at the end. THAT'S how epic your show was. Mind = blown. GREAT JOB!

Burbank In Sync - I seriously want to meet whoever came up with the show design, because that was absolutely brilliant! Terrific vocals and choreography, and you made me want to add "Magic" from Xanadu on my iPod. Fantastic job, and I can't wait to see your show next year!

More thoughts later.

Haha all good! :D Mhmm that sucks. You guys don't perform your set for your last show? >_< Haha, you play an awesome Harry Potter though! Haha we're moving onto our last show too, it's like a 60's theme pop show, sort of like your theme for your last year's competition set! We're singing Let the Sunshine In to like It's My Party to My Girl and stuff! Should be fun.
