We received a text from our director around 10 am on Saturday morning giving us the news.

Just wondering why they would not have contacted PRC regarding the "mess up"?
Can anyone associated with South Jones please shed some light on this?

It's time to go to the skating system of judging and throw out the high and the low score. Too often you hear of one judge changing the whole outcome of a competition. It's simple to fix you throw out the high and low score. Oh by the way this post has nothing to do with the scoring problems mentioned above.

Apparently there was a discrepancy in the scoring from last night and Petal Middle School Showtimers actually placed third in the small division.

Also, I'm very excited for Oak Grove "CenterStage!" making finals for their first time EVER! What an exciting night!

I'm counting on you, CompanyDad to keep us posted. This is Albertville's first year not to attend this competition since it began in 2006. Tonight, we are having our annual fundraiser show, "Sweets & Songs". We wish everyone here the best of luck tonight!

Can someone please post who is in middle mixed division.

Prediction;
As much as I LOVE Petal Soundsations, with the new director this year I believe it will take them a little time to adjust. Plus from seeing them at practice and here alumni speak of their progress, I believe it is very unlikely they will make it to finals. I'm still pulling for them. Northeast Jones hit a terrible rough spot last year when their Director's son died. But this year they have completely buckled down. NEJ Gold Horizons is ready. And they are good. I'm not just saying this cause I'm an alumni. I am one of the toughest show choir critics I know. and I know hard work when I see it. But here:



I've heard the exact opposite from my sources.....
