Sitting here watching you all and thinking that it's time for showfest to get a tier 1 & 2. it would be great for the smaller choirs to compete more equally.

Eldo- sorry to hear you got stuck in Chicago- although if your going to be stuck anywhere that's not a place to do it. Hope you get home and rested in time for Showfest.

Jordan, tell your Goldrush folks to work hard! If you make the top four you'll beat someone in the top 10 choirs in the nation- that would be such a coup for Eldo- and NM! So, go win, and have fun!!!

We're taking 2 girls choirs because we added a Beginning Treble Choir group and they're basically another prep for our tier 1 show choirs (:

Chicago is either going to be really fun or really scary. it's just going to depend on how hard Gold Rush and 24 Carat are willing to work for getting into finals and maybe securing a place in the Fame Nationals (: I'm extremely excited though.

I think it's going to be really fun and really scary- break a leg!

Jordan,
another Jordan just posted that you all have 3 choirs coming to Showfest. That's huge! Did you all decide to add another mixed group- like the Cali schools do?

Wow- I hope it's not the same as the gossip I'm hearing. I guess everyone will know soon enough.
You guys must be getting excited for Chicago- I just realized it's the weekend prior to Showfest. It's going to be intense- but fun for your final year. I just looked at the most recent list- it's going to be a great competition. I'm excited to see everyone's show.

Jordan, I just heard that your director is leaving after this year. I wonder who will take over next year.

I wonder the same thing, even though I realize that this is my last year anyways. It's still extremely scary for me because I won't know what I'm coming back to the next time I visit them. I know Gold Rush is working so hard right now and with the tight ship that Mr. Krier runs, even the slightest mishap can do a lot to mess up the entire system he's set in place for the choirs. But I have faith that they've chosen someone (because apparently the decision is close to being finalized) who will do everything they can for the choirs.
