You're right... You usually are completely wrong, Completely anonymous, and completely bitter. Who are you? I mean, these jerks made me admit to being me, instead of Amanda Burkhardt lol. I see you comment all the time, and so rarely anything positive...

I liked you better when you were a girl.

Waconia- Well, I personally dont have a great experiance with some kids in this group. I heard about 8 of them trash talking another group in the halls. . . in fornt of everyone. . . just not cool. But I do like your show. Great vocals in the ballad, but the first couple numbers were a little boring for me. The closer and the fame number is great but your choreography is easier than most groups. its just fast and arms. nothing is wrong with that, but thats why i belive you deserved 5th. I belive yall beat hastings at altoon but apparently there was bias judging there because they are WAY better this year. jsut my opinion.

The things I say in this post DO NOT REFLECT Waconia at all. I usually restrain myself, but in this instance, I felt strongly that something needed to be said.

1. I heard a story that came from one of the Waconia moms that she overheard a group of Hastings kids say something along the lines of the following quote while waiting in line to get into the gym. "We're going to cream Waconia since we brought our own judges." I don't think any group could trash talk worse than that.

2. It's Bemidji, not Bemidgi. +3 Haakon Points.

Actually, you can disagree with Hastings getting 2nd place. But They deserved it. if you look at the scores at the end ALL of the judges put Hastings in second place. and I do belive that Hastings won best vocals by 8 points. Dont get me wrong, Clinton has stunning vocals. absolutley gorgeous. BUT Hastigns has stunning vocals in the first two numbers, well executed character voices, and belting. You jsut cant get any better than Hastings vocally in my opinion. they DID win best vocals at like all their competitions. Clinton, Hastings, Mitchell and Bemidgi were the really great groups. I knew it was between all four groups for the first four spots.

People seem really bitter about this compeition and I personally want to know why. Answers please.

Bloomington Kennedy- yall are so humble. I just love it. You guys may not be the "best" but you bring something fresh to the show choir world. Your show looks so much fun and had me entertained the whole time. congrats on a great performance.

Bemidgi- you kids are inspirations. You looked like women up there with your straight hair. When the sound on the synth, bass, and guitar went out for the second half of your show I literally got so upset. I thought it was unfair and should never happen to a group. but boy, you still killed it. SOOOO clean, it was ridic. and your ballad has the best vocals i have ever heard from bemidgi. Def the best year you guys have had. And I love that you do it without props and STILL killed it. you guys are a force to be reckon with.

Mitchell- What can i say? best show ever? i think so. I did think you and hastigns and clinton were all so close. Your vocals were so good, and I love the style you bring to the show choir world. So modern and meaningful. BEST COSTUMES. I did think your guys number needs some cleaning but other than that it was flawless. you performed it so beautifully. Your energy is amazing. I just cant tell you enough how much I lvoe your show and the stlye you bring to it. Mitchell is truly a one of a kind show choir

Hastings- stunning. absolutley stunning. When you first sing part of your ballad in the opener I die. You sound like a college choir. Your girls are absolutley beautiful and the guys are the cleanest guys I have ever seen. . .besides clinton. BUT CLOSE. dont get me wrong. You guys are probably the most entertaining show this season for me. So much vareity but the show makes sense as a whole still. Your ballad is a little slice of heaven. I dont really like the fur coats but I understand them, even with those things on you worked it like no other. and the girls and guys numebr sealed the deal for me. The guys killed it and I didnt think the gurls could follow them but damn, you did it. def the best sounding group by far. You are all the nicest friendliest group I have met, funny kids on and off the stage.

Clinton- What can I honestly tell you? you killed it. I mean, I dont really like the idea of the show and it wasnt my favorite show. but it was so passionate and beautiful. You guys made me like a show that I did not like the concept of which is rare.

thanks for the compliment, but you dont have to trash talk the other groups...every compliment comes with a negative comment. youre just ridiculous

photos from the day! you kinda have to fish through though... they uploaded weird.
also, none of the photos i took of rig, clinton, etc turned out. my rebel didn't agree with the lighting.
so it's pretty much all waconia and then like 6 good mitchell photos!

(pointless post.)

Really Great Day...Every Group Did A Fantastic Job! It was awesome to see some amazing groups live that I have never seen before...I was anticipating Clinton the most and they definitely delivered! The atmosphere at Totino was electric all day and the large crowds in the gym added so much energy into everyones shows!

I had it going...

GC-Clinton (BC) (BV)
1RU-Waconia/Mitchell
2RU-Mitchell/Waconia
3RU-Hastings
4RU-Bemidji
5RU-Kennedy

I didnt finish what I wanted to say about clinton.

sorry, haha.

Basically you just killed it. I did however think mitchell and riverside almost gave you a run for your money. But you guys are the nicest mature people i have ever met. You guys gave the sweetest compliments and I liked seeing how friendly yall were to the other groups. such a beautiful to thing. You guys must have so much pressure being the best and all that jazz and you live up to it. be proud of what you accomplished. not only did you live up to the past seasons but you did yourselves justice. AND how those girls dance in those shoes. . . wow. just wow. You guys did great. Everything I expected out of you. I didnt like the show that much but YOU made it the best show, ya know what i mean? jsut impecable. Great director I ust say, I heard the man is excentric and brought his dog, haha. but he deserves a big thanking from yall for that show. Yall are great. keep trucking.

Wow... what an experience.

I consider myself a fairly seasoned show choir watcher. I've sat through a lot of finals. And I have NEVER seen a finals with as many groups that incredibly good as I saw at Totino-Grace. EVERY single group was bringin' it!

There were two SCC'ers sitting with me (jz33 and airforceflores) and we each ranked the finalists separately. When we compared notes afterwards, we all had individually came up with identical results. So here's our unanimous thoughts:

GC: Clinton (BC, BB)
1RU: Hastings (BV)
2RU: Waconia
3RU: Mitchell
4RU: Bemidji
5RU: Bloomington Kennedy

So we agreed with the judges on almost everything except the Band caption and the fact that Waconia got hosed. I have to say it, Power Company was one of the best, most entertaining shows I have ever seen. Waconia is now one of my personal favorite show choirs. I have absolutely no idea how they finished 5th. In my mind, any of the top 4 groups (on my list) could have legitimately challenged for the GC. Bemidji was not far behind, either.

I don't want to ramble on and on because I was mostly in awe throughout finals. Every show had things that were just awesome about it. Here are some way-too-short summaries of my thoughts: I love Attache's ballad and you are the cleanest group I've ever seen. Hastings had the best tone of the competing groups - so mature - and had such a fun show! Waconia blew me away with pure energy and made me, more than any other show, want to get on stage and join them. Mitchell was incredibly innovative and I LOVE how they designed the show with going into and out of the ballad. Bemidji was a force and the opener looked really, really good - great staging. BK's Michael Jackson medley was awesome!

And Totino - wow. Again, I've seen a lot of show choir, but nobody sings like you. Even if it was only an exhibition performance, I wished that you were competing here... because I personally had you as the best group of the day, period. The vocals are simply amazing. (I was the random guy giving the standing ovation after the ballad - which was absolutely phenomenal.)

All in all, this was the best show choir viewing experience I've ever had, and I just want to say thank you to everyone associated with any of the 7 groups I witnessed. You're awesome!
