I had it:
1. Bemidji
2. Cliinton
3. Hastings
4. Waconia
5. Bloom Kennedy
6. Mitchell

As usual I saw a completely different show.

You're right... You usually are completely wrong, Completely anonymous, and completely bitter. Who are you? I mean, these jerks made me admit to being me, instead of Amanda Burkhardt lol. I see you comment all the time, and so rarely anything positive...

Here's my brief thoughts on the day, keeping in mind that they in no way shape or form reflect the views or opinions of Waconia "Power Company" or "The Current." I was really grateful for being able to see such amazing show choirs. All of you impressed me in at least one way or another today.

Connection - I don't know why you made the changes you did, but I honestly didn't like them. I was a big fan of your show, and it was disappointing to see so many changes. You still performed great, and a shout out to Jessica Meyers on her award.

RIG - Wow! You were definitely my choice for 6th place after seeing all of the groups. Your show has improved so much from when I saw it at Eau Claire. Great job!

Mitchell - Way to represent South Dakota! I liked your show better in prelims for some reason, but I can't put my finger on why. My friend said it best when he said that your show was "the most visually effective show I've ever seen."

Clinton - Wow! During prelims, your ballad left me feeling numb and covered in goosebumps. Your vocals were definitely solid there. I didn't think the beginning of your show was as strong as it could've been, but none the less, your prelims show didn't disappoint. I was a little less unenthused during your finals performance, however.

Waconia - I won't say much here. Your prelims show left me wanting more of something. There was definitely something missing, but I couldn't put my finger on it. But finals made up for it. Your show there was phenomenal. Even if you guys didn't place as well as you maybe wanted too, the way you've handled yourselves this season amazes me, and I couldn't be more proud to call you my Alma Mater.

Bemidji - I sat behind some alums from your school during Prelims, and they were super fun to talk about show choir with. I will always love your opening soloist, and some crazy faced kid named Zoey? His intense facials in "One is the loneliest number" will always be a memory from your show that sticks in my mind.

Going into finals, my predictions were:

GC: Clinton (BV)
1RU: Waconia (BC)
2RU: Mitchell
3RU: Bemidji
4RU: Hastings
5RU: RIG

Boy was I wrong!

Also, the trophy's were huge! I'm about six foot three inches (ish), and the GC trophy was almost as tall as me. It was like an inch shorter. A hats off to Totino for doing a magnificent job hosting. All of your parent workers were friendly, and your idea to sell dinner tickets before dinner was brilliant.

Scandal...

I don't like that this is annonymously getting voted up.

Honestly, even though I've only seen Clinton's show this year on Youtube, I can't imagine it being "Scandal" that they'd beat Hastings or Mitchell...

Come on.... We're talking about the winningest show choir (other than Carmel) that the world has seen... You're going to call it "Scandal" when they GC ???

Someone's bitter

Lol, NO.

I love clinton, and I love David Fehr even more... lol.

vocals have not been their strong suit for nearly 10 years, and if the scoresheet were truly weighted correctly for a "choral" competition, Hastings would have won this. Just as Marysville would have won in 2007 at Fairfield.

Not bitterness, just have been around a long time...

It's true. I thought Mitchell and Hastings were better than Clinton. I truly honeslty unbiasedly did. Clinton's show was boring and their choreography was easy. Mitchell and Hastings sang just as well as Clinton did but they had a far more entertaining show and more difficult choreography. Heres how I had it:

GC: Mitchell (BC)
1RU: Hastings (BV)
2RU: Clinton

The rest turned out how I thought it would. Again, no bitterness at all, I just think that Clinton's name really helped them out here. All the groups were great though. I would have hated to be a judge.

Their show wasn't boring and their Choreo was difficult, I do agree with I would hate to be a judge, because the groups were amazing during finals and I'm sure it was close between the top three... Hastings and Mitchell both were fantastic as well, I did however think Mitchell had a better show than Hastings in finals.

I would guess this was probably similar to Fairfield 2007. Another group really was the better "choir" but Clinton probably won by some unheard of... like...30 points in choreo or something.

Hastings sang phenomenally. I know the point difference between attaché and Hastings was 12 points in prelims. Not sure what it is for finals, but I think it was closer.

Has anyone seen Friend de Coup yet?

They were amazing, their vocals were so strong and solid. I'm thinking their gonna give attache a run for their money
