Im not quite sure who you even are, but your think says youre assosciated with waconia. making waconia look cocky...idk maybe you didnt read my post before? that wasnt my goal hahah. i was simply stating facts. clearly anyone can beat anyone depending on who shows up. so no, i did not make waconia look "cocky". but thanks

Just because she informed someone that they had already beaten a few groups that were in attendance isn't making them look cocky.

I am sure every group is going to come expecting to bring it, everyones predictions are allowed and any information pertaining to the competition is allowed too.

I can't wait to just watch a competition i have no ties too and just watch! Can't wait to see Clinton live for the first time since 2008

Just because you beat them once doesn't mean you'll beat them every time, Kara. I'm almost positive that the judges at Totino will be different from the ones who scored you when you competed against Bemidji, Craig, and Hastings, and it will also be much later in the season that you're competing against these groups. Just like you guys have improved a ton this year, I'm sure these other groups have as well. I was told by a member of Vocalmotive that since Eau Claire, they've DOUBLED their practice time, practicing four days a week. Nothing's for sure, and you'll have to work hard to earn a good placement. I'm not saying you can't, but I'm not saying these other groups can't either. This whole competition is going to be such a toss-up, even two weeks out, I don't think anyone can really tell who will place where.

DEAR LORD. THANK YOU.

Kara, please stop making waconia look cocky.

Amen.

Will Gates Crisler be joining the panel for finals?? I hope not. He has many ties with Attache' and I worry that, weather he means it or not, Attache' will get some sort of bias from him. hmmmm...

Neither Luke nor Gates will be judging in finals. No need to worry about bias.

Just gonna say, I absolutely can't wait for Spectacular!!! I couldn't ask for a better line-up of groups.
I finally get to see Clinton in person after years of watching their shows on youtube. And then, if that alone wasn't enough, most of my favorite groups are there: Waconia, Bemidji, Mitchell... You know, just add the entire list of performing groups to that list. I'm going to be selling waters in the gym all day just so I don't miss a single group!

lol yah I won't be attending. It's not worth it. Which is why there should be a live feed... lol If a teeny little school like Milton can do it, I think Totino can as well.

"teeny little school like Milton" lol...we have like 250 more students then Totino, but they do have a larger choir.

All they would need is a Laptop/Computer with internet access, a Webcam and a free account on Ustream or BlogTV.
Well in that case, I could do it. It wouldn't be very good though. At all.

I think at that point it wouldn't be worth it. No offense. You're going to miss almost half the groups at that point.

How much is it for prelims, finals, and all day?

My guess is no, but if someone proves me wrong I will probably pee my pants and kiss them because this competition would be the BEST for a live feed.

Perhaps you should kiss your pants before you pee them.

Anyone got any predictions for the JV competition?? haha I'm pretty biased cause I LOVE my Current kids but man does Jive have a good show this year! I was completely blown away at Starpower! Between those two, not to forget Bemidji, I think even JV is gonna be a fight to the death....CAN'T WAIT!!!

Yah same with me. I probably couldn't afford it. Plus I have to be back in Cedar Rapids at 6:30 pm so I'd probably have to leave after Craig performed.

A live feed would be amazing. I'm having a hard time deciding if I can afford to go to this one or not.

Does anyone know if Friend De Coup will be there?

Yes, Friend De Coup will be there. The schedule is a page or two back in the forum, and all the groups are also listed at the top of the page.
