About Winfield "General Admission" which we all call GA for short, until the 2002-2003 competition season the director did not write the shows. He arranged them though. Both of the last two years shows were written entirely by Mr. Haught though. The 2002-03 year theme being "show choir" (this is a classic show & I suggest you all find someone who has it on tape & watch it). Last year's show was written by Mr. Haught as well & it's basic theme was "high school." This year's show is audience interactive & should be interesting. Mr. Haught wrote only the ballad this year & I have not heard it yet. I am a very irritating GA alum & I guarantee Haught will agree with you if you ask him. I'm a show choir junkie even though my last year was 2001-02. I've only heard parts of all this year's songs & I won't reveal what they are for fear of being verbally attacked by current GA members but the show will be unlike anything you've seen before. As an example I will say that the audience gets to choose in what language one of the choruses is sung in one of the songs. There are many other choices throughout & I look forward to seeing it as a whole show. If you have any other questions feel free to IM me (my AIM is VILLAINESSA) but I won't reveal the songs so please don't ask me for them. GA's competition show will debut at Marysville on Jan. 8th. Byes!
