Is the winner of the small division here guaranteed a spot in finals like in years past?
I'm pretty sure they stopped that rule last year.

I haven't seen them this year, but if any group is being underestimated, by some, it looks to be Tupelo. All I know for sure is they were really good last year. I know a lot of people haven't seen them since they don't seem to do
as many comps as most groups. I would wager a guess that those who haven't seen them ever, or in the last couple of years, will be shocked.

I don't think it's completely fair to take into account the number of years a group has been in show choir or in a division or how well groups did at the same competition last year because this is a completely different year. Things have changed. Some groups have improved, while others haven't. Why should it matter how long a groups been in a certain division to decide how good they are? It doesn't necessarily work like that.

I agree. I don't think anyone should be underestimated because a group might really surprise you...

I honestly dont think she ment the question she asked to come off that way , I think she was jus asking a question lol ,but it did cum across that way.

isnt this jackson preps first year as a AA group. and what about tupelo and auburn. you have so many more experienced groups who finished really strong at this competition last year. i really think this will be one you cant predict the outcome of...

Has anyone seen Tupelo ??? have they competed yet???
not yet. they only go to 2 or 3 competitions a year and this will be their first this season. But, based on past years, I'm sure they're going to be really good again!

so i think its gonna go something like this:

GRand champion:Wheaton-Warrenville
1st runner up:Clinton
2nd runner up:Albertville (small division)
3rd runner up:Auburn
4th runner up:Tupelo

When you say small division do you mean our small group Censations????? I'd say that prediction will be a stretch for Centerstage much less Censations.
