I am really glad Piqua wasn't able to compete.... That was the best show I have ever seen live. And Marysville was right on up there too. But just out of sheer curiosity what did anybody think of Albertvilles' show this year? Feedback is always appreciated

First off, I would like to say congratulations to all groups who performed. Every group put on a great performance with some very cool shows.

After watching each choir perform in finals, I was very surprised with the final placements.
Going into finals, I thought it was a pretty tight race between Marysville and Beavercreek, but I do think Marysville deserved their Grand Championship, they had a FANTASTIC show. What surprised me the most was Beavercreek's drop from second to fifth. While I preferred their daytime show, I thought their choreography was very tight and their vocals were right up their with Marysville in finals, maybe even above in some places.

I would have place the groups:
Marysville
Beavercreek
Hurricane
Twinsburg
Albertville
Solon

With best Vocals and Choreography going to Marysville

Also, I LOVED Piqua's show! The amount of energy they had after working so hard all day was incredible and their show was very entertaining. They are obviously going to have another great season.

I couldn't agree more. I usually don't like Beavercreek's shows that much (the actual song choices, not the performances, not to sound offensive) but it was excellent at Piqua. They did a stellar job and I would have placed them right behind Marysville (maybe Hurricane, too). I enjoyed every goup's performances and good luck in upcoming competitions.

Twinsburg did indeed do really well in their finals performance. I don't know how anyone's performances went in the daytime but I also was a bit suprised that Beavercreek placed so low.

Beavercreek fell to 4ru because they added new judges in finals who both put them in last place

Question: How did beavercreek beat twinsburg in prelims since beavercreak ended up with 4RU?
I'm guessing Twinsburg improved in finals...

This was a GREAT competition. I was only there for finals though. I would just like to say that one group really impressed me last night. Twinsburg, your show was so original. I have never seen anything like it. I must admit that when I took a look at your costumes, it threw me off a little. Then i watched your show and I couldn't imagine them as anything else. I loved many things about your show. First the layout, Opener: that is the most creative way I have ever seen a group take the stage. I loved how at first you performed to the first few rows. It was fierce. You guys told the story very well, it was almost like a post ballad. Third number: don't let me be misunderstood vocally was the best in your show in my opinion, this was yet another song that I believed. As I wached this number, every single person was into it. Ballad: there were a lot of good things about this song. Soloist was very good. He did a great job with not adding to much, a lot of soloist try to make it there song and do to much with it. The group did very well when they came in. There were some tight harmony in this ballad. Overall: I was very surprised with your show. you were the only group that Impressed me to great extents. The choreo fit the show very well and so did your attitudes. You have a very humble show. It has a great meaning to it which will take you far, my only negative note is that before awards, I didn't see the group who performed about being different or misunderstood, I saw a group who knew they were good and they showed it. Please don't be cocky about anything. It isn't attractive and it doesn't make your group look good. I hope you guys have a great season and I look forward to seeing your show again! you guys are truly amazing. These are my opinions, they do not relate to the Edgewood choraliers in any way. Thank-you
