From what i've gathered so far (from Jayson Burken)

1st- Xavier
2nd- Momentum

and then finalists are (performance order)

Xavier Prep
unknown group
IC High
Momentum
Xavier Varsity
Des Moines Lincoln

If that unknown group is Gretna, then my predictions are spot on.

Geez. I'm sure what you were trying to say was "Thank you for the explanation, I'm sorry I miss understood" because I'm sure you wouldn't want to come off as being rude, or bashing another school or person... for a spelling error.

By the way, 4th Ave is from Iowaa Cityy-Highh. Not Iowaa Cityy-Westt.

I know but I'm not from Linn-Mar. So I didn't want to say city high since you weren't talking about my alma mater. (though i did go to LM for elementary and middle school) And it was a joke anyway. Everyone always spells Linn-Mar wrong. Not just you. EVERYONE.

ANYWAYYYYYYY. i agree with haakon we can move on now. Can't wait! I'll get to make the end of day round after my rehearsal here in CR. EXCITED.

Adam, how much are ticket prices? (i know $1,000 :-P )

Let's move on, please. I think this round of discourse has reached the end of its useful lifespan.

I also think people need to get thicker skin around here - on all sides. Seems like lately the reaction to one critical comment is just completely blown out of proportion. This is a place where people can discuss show choir, and that includes sharing personal opinions. If you don't like what someone says, either brush it off and move to the next topic or politely reply in a manner that expresses your position. What I don't want to see is people yelling at each other for the things they say. This is the Internet, and it's easy to forget that real people are making all of the comments - people who I am sure 99% of the time mean well and have a perspective just like you. I've had to remind myself of this before, too; no one is perfect. But if you take a moment to breathe and try to add something positive to the discussion, we'll all have a better site to share.

Jason said one sentence that was a fact not an opinion. He was stating that you weren't placing as high as usual. Linn Marr is always tough and usually comes down to who your judges are. I'm positive that he didn't mean to bash your show choir because we all know that you are a very consistent and strong show choir.

You shouldn't spread heresay. If you didn't see Wash you shouldn't comment. Have your predictions, that's fine. Totally your own opinion and no one can fault you for that. But don't openly call out one single group, especially if you haven't seen the show this year. I haven't met one person that said Momentum was bad at Linn-Mar. It was a TOUGH competition with lots of good groups, and two groups that usually make finals couldn't. You should focus on improving your show rather than spreading rumors about a group you haven't seen.

I'm SO sorry... I didn't realize you would take that the wrong way. I'm not one to put down another group. I was just stating something I heard, and I didn't mean to spread a rumor or anything. I feel awful that you took it the wrong way and I've learned my lesson now. Please don't think poorly on me, or my choir. It was seriously not supposed to be a put-down!
