I have seen all of these groups besides Bishop Luers. And feel free to call me biased or whatever but I saw Carmel last year at WW competion and wouldn't have had them in finals but was not surprised when they did, I know they are quite a name in the North. I was surprised however, when they beat Mt. Zion and EEE. Shocked fits my reaction better. Anyway, based on what I see year in and year out I would have Marysville, Twinsburg, and Center Grove in the top 3. Center grove is personally my favorite, with Marysville and Twinsburg close behind. And I LOVED Solon's show this year. I am usually wrong about Northern groups but thought I would give my two cents anyway.
Predictions are generally based on opinion which is why don't get into them. In terms of logic though, I think these go against the grain. Especially in regards to this season. Lawrence Central has beaten Center Grove and Marysville already this season and I believe in their exhibition at LC Classic they scored higher than CG's Grand Championship score. Carmel's first time out is this weekend and while they are starting relatively late, they are always well-rehearsed. usually they peak at their last contest. Bishop Luers won and took a vocals caption over North Central Counterpoints at Mooresville last weekend. Just a bit of perspective based on results.

*I should point out that contrary to my profile info, I'm no longer directly affiliated with Lawrence Central Show Choirs

I'm willing to bet these will be the finalists:

Marysville
Center Grove
Carmel
Solon
Bishop Luers
Lawrence Central

And I'm predicting this:

GC: Carmel
1RU: Lawrence Central
2RU: Center Grove
3RU: Bishop Luers

I LOVE this prediction! (I''m a tad bit biased *CS Alumn* but I like it. traditionally, carmel has really good vocals and very clean choreo which out bests LC's but this year I have not heard much about Carmel & while I haven't seen LC's show in completion i've been hearing great things and they have placed really well so far this season. It could be a toss up between the two. The only edit I would make is switching Luers and CG i LOVE THEM but i have heard they are horrible this year and based off of placements so far they are not having a great year. Luers typically is very clean and does well. Im not a fan of Marysville (they beat LC at Fairfield last year and im still bitter lol). but i do tend to enjoy their performances.

this will be a great comp.

I like this. I would replace Bishop Luers with Twinsburg. Twinsburg could have a shot at this. They did very well against the Indiana schools earlier this year.

Twinsburg will be there? If that's the case, there is some re-arranging in order, for sure lol

Does anyone know of any small show choirs who will be competing in the auditorium? I know that Southwestern ESPRIT will be competing. The ARTS All-Star Show Choir is also confirmed but my students said that they disbanded due to financial reasons. Anyone have any input?
