I know this post is really late, but I know that Eric "EJ" Lewis choreographed their last number and I believe Jarad Voss did the other numbers. They've had Marty DeMott before as well, but I'm not sure if he choreographed them this year.

EJ choreographed the last two... and wowza- What a fantastic job he did!

Whoever put Mt. Zion, Zionsville, and Pike's shows on YouTube is officially amazing. Just wondering, who choreographs Pike this year? Those kids can dance.

Not every choir can be North Central, and I really hate to see choirs that can really perform, resorting to gimmicks like this. Maybe spend the time on vocals instead?

BTW I like that i got a -3 on that above post. lol. I guess no one is allowed to dislike BD?

Final Shot out goes to Carrol. Do not let tonight's ranking be an indicator of good they are. I thought they should have placed higher, and overall, there show may be just as good as last year when they won this competition. I really loved their closer, and they definitely did a great job tonight.

This comment is much appreciated! Carroll has been kicking butt this year I think the mixed was just having an off night, and I really wish they would have placed higher. But, you win some you lose some. That's just how show choir goes. But on behalf of the mixed, thank you!

I would definately like to give a big congrats to Zionsville on their well deserved Grand Champ! I saw their mixed group during prelims and finals and absolutely loved the show. So creative! And very impressive

Great Competition! Congrats Zionsville!

I first want to say that I was very impressed by Pike tonight. I saw them two weeks ago (though it was an exhibition performance) and they did not have the flare then, as they did tonight. Ballad soloists were unbelievable and their last two numbers really popped tonight.

Also, great stuff from Ben Davis. They really stepped up their game tonight as well. They made a couple of changes to their show which enhanced it in my opinion. Pushing the tempo at one point during the closer really was effective.

I have been impressed with Zionsville this year. I personally am not in love with their show, but it is fun, they sing well, and they all have bought into their theme. It's hard to lose when you have that combination.

I must say I was a bit disappointed by Crete Monee. Not that I think they did a bad job, but after seeing the Sullivan placement, I was just a bit set back by today's performance. Overall, the energy wasn't at the level of the other groups, but maybe they had an off night. I'm sure they will bounce back.

I loved Mt. Zion's show. Whole thing through was very fun and entertaining, and I was pulling for them, but realistically, they were outmatched vocally. Choreography was good, as well as the magic trick in the fourth number. Thought it was a great showing though, as I have come to expect seeing them the last couple of years at Edgewood.

Final Shot out goes to Carrol. Do not let tonight's ranking be an indicator of good they are. I thought they should have placed higher, and overall, there show may be just as good as last year when they one this competition. I really loved their closer, and they definitely did a great job tonight.

First off, big congrats to Zionsville! While you've had a couple rough years recently, it looks like you guys are coming back. Second, I'm quite happy for my alma mater choir. It looks as though you are starting your season off well. Keep up the good work!

Women's division:

GC: Zionsville
1RU: Crete Monee
2RU: Ben Davis

Vocals: Zionsville
Choreo: tie between zionsville and ben davis

Mixed Division:
GC: Zionsville
1RU: Pike
2RU: Ben Davis
3RU: Mt. Zion
4RU: Carroll
5RU: Crete Monee (a 6th finalist was added due to a dead tie for 5th in prelims)

Vocals: Zionsville
Choreo: Zionsville
Band: Zionsville

I thought the placements were EXACTLY right, except for Ben Davis being 2RU. I had BD in 5th behind carroll and above Crete monee. Zionsville is THE CHOIR TO WATCH in Indy this year. I was SO so impressed with their vocals. WOW

After going to Pike and keeping up to date with competitions outside of Indiana, here are my predictions for tonight:

GC: Zionsville
1st:Crete Monee
2nd:Ben Davis
3rd: Mt. Zion
4th: Carrol

Vocals: Zionsville
Choreo: Crete Monee

This to me will be one of the best competitions of the year. I actually have a hard time leaving Lafyette Jeff. and Pike out of finals, and I think making finals at this competition will be an accomplishment in itself.

I don't like BD's show as much as I did last year, but they still will be formidable. I don't see them winning, but finals should be expected. I saw Mt. Zion earlier at Southmont this year, and I expect them to make finals as well. Their choreography and usually powerful ballad should be enough for them to make a run in the night show. I have got to say Crete Monee and Zionsville are my wild cards. I have only seen Zionsville once and it was two years ago when they were not as good as they were this year. I am basically ranking based off Center Grove and Sullivan which both choirs won. I would not count out Carrol either, seeing as last year how I had never heard of them. They won las year, and I just don't see them not making finals given their success last year.

I love Pike's ballad but I think the other groups are just overall a bit stronger. Last year after watching the night show, I picked Lafyette Jeff, to win. They Placed 4th RU. Maybe this year I say that won't make finals and they end up winning the whole thing. Who Knows?

Overall it should be a great competition. As soon as someone knows finals Please post!

I think your list looks great.
