Congrats to Gold Rush!!! i loved your show when we were at showfest!!! you guys rock.
Oh dude thank you so much. I was soooo impressed by you guys at ShowFest, no lies. but it was great to do so well at FAME. It really brought our group together to do so well, and to have our girls' do even better.

Just to throw some more praise at FAME, I ordered my DVD on Sunday and have already received it. Looking forward to watching everyone.

First of all, let me say on behalf of myself and my choir, that we had a BLAST! Everyone there was so supportive and cool, and the FAME people are the best! It's always a joy to get to see choirs from all over, and see how show choir is interpreted across the country.
Congrats to everyone there, especially Jefferson and Eldorado. It's easy to hold your head up high when you get trounced by groups as fine as they are! Really! Great shows, great people, great weekend.
(BTW, if you happen to be in Branson, go to see SIX! Their show is unbelievable, and we are so glad we got a chance to see them. Fantastic show.)
As for the captions, Jeff Conn took most, and the best ones! And deserved every one. Awesome show. What a BAND!! Wow.
But I wouldn't be much of a director if I didn't give a very, very proud shout to some truly talented and extremely hard working people.

Our crew took home the Best Crew trophy! Whoo-hoo! These guys never get the props they deserve, especially when it's snowing like crazy in February and they are unloading the trailer or assembling the parts in the parking lot. Great job, guys.

Erin Handley was honored as Best Female soloist. This made four for four for her (try saying that four times!) as she took that award at every competition we went to this year. She is a classy young lady, and it's nice to see the judges reward that.

JR Lucas had to be convinced to audition three years ago. He considers himself a drummer first, and everything else second. ON stage, however, he is a rock star worthy of any spotlight he wants, and yet, the best male solo usually goes to a guy who melts hearts in the ballad. JR KICKED our opener, and set the tone for the entire year. I couldn't be happier for his achievements at FAME. Not only was he named Best Male Vocalist, but ALSO Best Male Presence, and as Chad Alexander pointed out, this was the first time in FAME history both awards went to the same person. JR Lucas. Remember that name.
Am I proud? You bet. Of all my students, and of all the choirs that lay it on the line up on stage.

Special thanks to Damon Brown and Brooke Smolder. They make us what we are.

thank you very much (: Eldorado had a blast at FAME this year and it was an incredible experience for both of our groups that competed.

Just curious, Chad Alexander was our emcee?!
