I just noticed that the audience is at the same level as the performers. Views past the first few rows must be difficult when trying to see the first row of performers. It's like performing in a classroom.

I thought cloverhill was phenomenal !
I had it (without seeing Los al)
Cloverhill
Ben Davis
Marysville
Plainfield
Findlay

I thought Plainfield was just a lot more solid and has a better show design then Findlay.

At least Mario was short in his introduction and he got the name of Los Al correct.

I know it wasn't Findlay's best performance, but they should have made finals over some of the other groups. Can't believe it! Something's seriously wrong.

At least we know that Mario Lopez didn't bail, as was suggested earlier! And I'm appreciating all the concessions to time and Ben Davis' concert choir offering to only perform 2 pieces: they *rocked* and it would have been a treat to hear more of them!

Break a leg, Northridge NORTHERN LIGHTS!!
isn't that a conflict of interest?
Assuming he's not judging, I would say no. It happens a lot for smaller schools in the midwest. A director of one group choreographs for another and then that group attends their competition. It's really no different than a director being friends with the creator of a competition, in my opinion. As long as they're not judging, at least.
