I don't know about Lincoln East taking a top 3 spot. They are quite good this year, but it will take a lights out show to top some of those groups that are attending. But I hope they do! It would be a great experience for them!

Well, FC went first in Finals tonight at Carroll, and got bested by Carmel, Zionsville, AND, Norwell.

So I'll reserve my new predictions until we see if they can bounce back from this, and not peak too early.

I'm not really that familiar with Nebraska show choirs. Petal and South Jones were just some familiar names for me. The only one at Branson I was really sure about was Center Grove, and even that was just based on last year.

Lincoln does have a shot at taking out South Jones and making the 3rd spot, but I picked the same 3 as you from fame Branson. Lincoln would have been my next choice though

Actually, I remember putting that in a notepad file one day.. it went something like:

Branson - Center Grove, Petal, South Jones
Chicago - Totino-Grace, Wheaton-Warrenville, Fairfield
Hollywood - Mt. Zion, Hart, Brea-Olinda
New York - Eisenhower, Carroll, Olentangy
Orlando - Ankeney, Franklin Central, Omaha Westside

This is a rough estimate, seeing as though I don't have the best feel for choirs in the West and South.

I don't want to be biased..but i definitely think Lincoln East has a shot at Branson, maybe i'm wrong?

So, quick question: if one of the qualifiers chooses not to attend, does the 4th place group get invited, or no?
