If the set-changing time between Burroughs and Brea had been less, we probably would have finiished before midnight.

My thanks to all of the performers for staying in the auditorium, on a warm night, and supporting all of the groups! You were great and your performances were magnificent!

To show you how close two points is on our score sheets, a perfect score would have been 1200 points (40 points per category, ten categories, 3 adjudicators.
Burroughs had 1187 points and Brea had 1185.

Intermediate Results:

John Burroughs: First Place; Musicianship; Showmanship
Glendora: Second Place
Los Altos: Third Place
Pacifica: Fourth Place
Encore: Fifth Place

Big congratulations to Burroughs Soundwaves and Burroughs Powerhouse for winning their respective divisions. Soundwaves also won best showmanship and musicianship for their category. Powerhouse won best musicianship for their category.
